My client is a leading provider of nationwide professional mechanical and electrical services across multiple sector industries covering design, service, 24 hour callout service, renewable technologies, ventilation services and more. The successful candidate will be working for a reputable Engineering firm who have successfully gained many contracts over the years with corporate organisations. An opportunity for an Air Conditioning Engineer to join the maintenance & service department has arisen, working mainly in and commercial buildings and works. You will be assisting with all aspects of reactive maintenance, servicing and installation and working in commercial properties scheduled by your line manager. The aim is to attend site and provide a first time fix solution. But in some cases, jobs will need to be quoted so all applicants must have excellent communication skills both verbal & written.  You will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial offices, shops and leisure outlets. The role will consist of managing other reactive building services work so the ideal candidate will need to come from an facilities management background. Requirements – All candidates must have the following:

  • Previous experience working within an air conditioning role
  • Experience working with AHU’s- FCU’s- VRV’s- VRF’s
  • FGas Qualification (Strongly preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
  • Commercial Gas Qualifications & Tickets
  • NVQ level 2 or City and Guilds qualification or similar qualification would be preferred but not essential
  • Full UK Driving Licence
