ARC Residential Care are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Permanent Support Manager with a young adults service.

  

Salary £25,295 to £29,636 (depending on experience) plus sleeping in bonus as per rota 

  

Our client has 15 years of outstanding practice in caring for and educating looked after children with complex social, emotional and mental health difficulties. This post is for a new venture designed to serve vulnerable care leavers who, post 18, require and will benefit from a highly personalised, community based, residential provision.

  

This service is a three bedroom house based in Beccles, which will provide care and ongoing development and learning for two vulnerable young adults. It will be open and be operational in September 2020.

 

The Young Adult Residential Support Manager will lead the home’s operation by example and provide inspiration and motivation for others in order to create a shared culture and positive climate.

 

The successful candidate will supervise and guide a team of four Young Adult Residential Support Workers and will be responsible for all aspects of care provision including the care, health and further educational development of the young adults.

  

Essential Criteria:
Applicants must have a Level 3 Diploma (in care or equivalent).  Our client welcomes candidates with ambition as well as experience.  In addition candidates must have experience of working with children or young adults with social, emotional and mental health complexities, and leading in a residential setting.
