Transport Manager
A well-established and growing company is looking to appoint a proactive and hands-on Transport Manager to join their s business on the outskirts of Kidderminster.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, combining transport planning, compliance, and customer interaction within a busy, fast-paced environment.
The Role
You’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of transport operations, working closely with the Depot Manager. Responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and planning multi-drop deliveries to customers
- Maximising route efficiency through strong geographical knowledge
- Managing vehicle maintenance schedules and bookings
- Monitoring driver compliance, including tachograph downloads and records
- Ensuring adherence to driving hours regulations and Working Time Directive
- Supporting the wider team with customer interaction, including answering calls and assisting at the trade counter
This is a hands-on position where no two days are the same, offering exposure to both operational and customer-facing aspects of the business.
About You
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Previous experience within a busy transport or logistics environment
- CPC qualification and strong tachograph knowledge (essential)
- A solid understanding of driver compliance, WTD, and transport regulations
- Experience within a builders merchants, construction supply, or similar environment (highly desirable)
- Confidence dealing with customers both over the phone and face-to-face
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced setting
- A positive, “can-do” attitude with a willingness to support across the team

Supervisor
Site Supervisor (SSSTS) – Ongoing Contract
Location: PE37 Area, Norfolk
Start Date: 20/04/2026
Hours: 07:00 – 17:00 (Monday–Friday)
Ongoing work with potential weekends available
Opportunity:
We are looking for a strong Site Supervisor to join an established contractor on a long-term infrastructure project in the Norfolk area. This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident running gangs on site and is looking for consistent, ongoing work.
You will be working on a busy project with a solid pipeline of works, supporting key groundworks and ducting packages.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supervising and leading operatives on site
- Overseeing groundworks including trenching, ducting, and installations
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard
- Coordinating day-to-day site activities and supporting the wider team
- Assisting with installation of ducts, draw pits, and manholes
- Supporting lifting operations and general civils works
What We’re Looking For:
- SSSTS – essential
- HSG47 CAT 1 & CAT 2
- PVM / Banksman
- Slinger / Signaller
- Proven experience supervising groundworks or civils teams
- Strong work ethic and ability to manage teams effectively

Driving Labourer
Job Title: Driving Labourer
Job Type: Temporary, ongoing
Location: Woodbridge
Rate of pay: Paye £13.00 per hour
Are you a Driving Labourer looking for work?
ARC are currently looking for a Driving Labourer with an immediate start required.
For this position, you must have the following:
• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Previous Labouring experience
• Own transport to get to the site
This temporary work for a Driving Labourer is for an ongoing duration, on a temp basis.
The type of work for a Driving Labourer will involve:
- Safely drive company vehicle to move tools, building materials (e.g., kitchens, bathrooms), and equipment to various sites or properties
- Collect and dispose of waste, debris, and surplus materials
- Gardening maintenance
- Operate clearance vehicles to empty void (empty) properties, including removing abandoned furniture and belongings
