Domestic Electrician
Job Title: Domestic Electrician
Job Type: Ongoing
Location: Cambridge and surrounding CB areas
Rate of pay: CIS £220 per day + Overtime available (Oncall)
Are you a Domestic Electrician looking for work?
ARC are currently looking for a Domestic Electrician.
For this position, you must have the following:
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, City & Guilds 2361 Part 1 & 2)
- 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
- Driving Licence
- 2391 Test and Inspect
This opportunity for a Domestic Electrician is for an ongoing duration, on a long term contract.
The type of work for a Domestic Electrician will involve:
- Install service and maintain electrical systems and appliances in domestic properties to a high-quality standard in accordance with the current Edition of The IET Wiring Regulations.
- Install, repair, inspect & test electrical installations and have the ability to fill in correctly, the appropriate Electrical Certificate for the task.
- Liaise with tenents and clients daily
You must have previous proven experience in working in a customer service-based role within social housing or similar.

Electrician Job Description
We are currently recruiting for experienced Electricians for a student accommodation project in Cambridge. The project is at 2nd fix stage, offering consistent work on a well-organised site.
Electrician Responsibilities
- Carrying out 2nd fix electrical installations
- Working on student accommodation units
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
- Adhering to site health & safety regulations
Electrician Requirements
- Valid ECS/CSCS card
- Proven experience with 2nd fix work
- Own tools and PPE
- Reliable and able to work independently
Electrician Details
- Location: Cambridge
- Parking: Free off-street parking available
- Rate: £240 per day
- Hours: 07:00 – 16:00
- Project: Student Accommodation (2nd Fix Stage)
