Our client provides residential care for adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour in a small residential home based in Withernsea.

THE ROLE

As a Registered Manager for this client, you would support in ensuring the promotion of the highest standard of care and to safeguard and support the development of all clients.

•To meet the needs of and promote the development of all living within the home.

•Work in partnership with the staff team and other professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of all individuals

•Have experience and knowledge of the CQC inspection framework and registration.

•Develop a confident, competent and consistent staff team and provide leadership and guidance

•Be involved in the recruitment and retention of staff

•To ensure staff are adequately trained, supported and supervised

•To promote the efficient and effective operation of the home

•To contribute to the development and growth of the company

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

• You will have 3 – 4 years’ experience running and managing care homes for vulnerable people with emotional, behavioural and special needs
• You will have proven experience dealing with challenging behaviour, and establishing effective care plans with proven impact and health care outcomes
• Full clean driving licence
• NVQ level 3 or above, candidates with level 5 management would stand out
• Willingness to expand on knowledge and undertake training
• A passion for supporting individuals and encouraging independence
• Good communicator on all levels
• Excellent Commitment and reliability

Job Title: First Contact Physiotherapist
Job Type:  Permanent
Location: Coastal – Seaford and Eastbourne

FT/PT: Full time

THE ROLE

We are on the look-out for a Highly Specialist Physiotherapist to join a well established team and work to become a First Contact Practitioner combining work in this role within GP practices with managing a physiotherapy caseload in East Sussex.

Once competent, with the support of the 8a FCP, you will autonomously undertake clinics in a primary care setting (GP practice) as a first point of contact to patients with MSK conditions using advanced clinical reasoning skills to assess, diagnose, treat and discharge patients without the need for a medical referral. You will provide a patient centred collaborative approach to assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning including providing patient choice and shared decision making and working within an MDT to provide a range of evidence-based treatment options, in line with clinical pathways. You will participate in collecting data for clinical audit within the service to assist with maintaining and improving all aspects of clinical governance, evidence based practice and quality assurance in the service area. You will also manage and treat a caseload of outpatient musculoskeletal physiotherapy patients and may be required to supervise more junior members of staff.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

Must haves;

• Registered with the HCPC as a physiotherapist
• Member of CSP
• Significant previous experience in Orthopaedic and MSK Physiotherapy
• Post-op Orthopaedic Rehabilitation
• Experience of service improvement

Management of the home and assume delegated responsibilities.

Promote the development of staff through training and regular

Supervision, ensuring a high standard of professional care, safeguarding

and protecting the wellbeing of the service users.

Permanent SUPPORT WORKER – Days

Job Title: Young Adult Residential Support Worker
Job Type:  Temp – Permanent role after 12 weeks
Location: Beccles, Suffolk

Days and hours of work: Monday to Sunday (Rota basis) full-time.

• To maintain good practice, be informed on current practice, and in liaison with the Young Adult Residential Support Manager, implement changes in accordance with developments in the residential social work field

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

• Willingness to expand on knowledge and undertake training- Staff working in a residential setting are required to complete a Level 3 Diploma in residential childcare, you will be supported with this to ensure it has been completed within two years of employment.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

• Self-motivated and have a passion for driving quality to ensure better outcomes for individuals with a learning disability. A manager must be able to bring energy, vision and strong service user experience
• Extensive knowledge of CQC inspection and other legislative requirements and able to manage inspections from CQC or relevant bodies when they occur
• Take responsibility for the safety of the service users, staff and the running of the service
• Be able to challenge and review current working practices, lead and initiate improvements
• Have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work well with others, motivate and encourage
• Have sound leadership skills in order to lead the team in the use and implementation of a coaching culture at all times
• Have extensive knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support, be able to demonstrate this in their own practice, ensuring current environments are created that are supportive and capable of meeting individual’s needs and be able to lead their team in ensuring that a culture of positive behaviour support is implemented and upheld at all times.
• Applicant should have NVQ level 5 or equivalent management qualifications. We may accept those who can demonstrate that they are in advance stage of achieving above mentioned qualifications and willing to complete.
