We are recruiting on behalf of our client for Adult Education Lead  to ensure that our client’s Ethos and Values are at the core of all your actions, this role is responsible for collaborating with the Director of Adult Education and the entire Core Group. Its primary objective is to provide support to Registered Managers and the broader management teams within the home/school network to ensure they operate their homes/schools in a manner that aligns with the needs of Adult Education.

THE ROLE

• Support individuals with autism, mental health conditions, and learning disabilities toward greater independence.
• Promoting & Supporting the Ethos around Adult Education:
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Adult Education to develop and bolster the department.
• Foster an inclusive and positive culture for adults to access and achieve educational goals.
• Contribute significantly to the pursuit of outstanding education quality.
• Perform effective initial assessments, identify accurate starting points, and create appropriate Individual educational plans.
• Cultivate productive relationships within the company and with external stakeholders.
• Plan activities in homes to bolster adult education and provide a 24-hour learning framework.
• Ensure alignment of EHCPs with the Director of Education.
• Support Teaching Assistants and Support Workers to meet funding requirements across EHCPs, Education, Community, and Social Inclusion.
• Formalise documentation of all learning activities in homes for inspections and standards.
• Encourage staff in homes to enhance their education and community knowledge for successful activities.
• Mentor and coach support staff on 24-hour learning and its integration into daily practices.

• Deliver the adult education program within the homes.
• Prepare, deliver, or participate in necessary learning or development programs and meetings.
• Stay informed about relevant legislation and key documents for Adult Education.
• Measure quality and gather feedback to advance the Adult Education department.
• Collaborate with inspectors during inspections to support outstanding outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, including Health & Safety, Safeguarding, Prevent strategy, and Equality/Diversity.
• Maintain flexibility in working hours and work with all residents, verbal and non-verbal.
• Document themed days and weeks in the Homes.
• Fulfil any additional functions required as needed.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

• Level 3 award in Education and Training (PTLLS)
• Previous experience within social care/education sectors
• Positive role modelling.
• Willingness to expand on knowledge and undertake training.
• Good communicator on all levels.
• Excellent commitment and reliability.
• Must hold a full clean UK driving licence – travel between sites is essential

The Role:

To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of administrative duties and the provision of administrative support to the multidisciplinary team.  Duties can include but are not limited to supporting the administration and receptionist teams with patient registration, booking appointments, processing of information (electronic and hard copy) in a timely manner and in accordance with current policies.  Support staff with the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming phone calls, transferring calls or dealing with the callers request appropriately
• Book appointments
• Processing of incoming and outgoing mail
• File and store records as required
• Photocopy documentation as required
• The processing of changes to patient registration, deduction of record and new patient registration
• Input data into the patient’s healthcare records as necessary
• Welcome patients and visitors to the practice, directing requests appropriately
• Maintain a clean, tidy, effective working area at all times
• Support all clinical staff with general administrative tasks as requested
• Process prescription requests

In addition to the primary responsibilities, the medical administrator may be requested to:

• Partake in audit as directed by the audit lead
• Scanning and workflow of hospital letters

• Serve as the contact for general CIC premises inquiries, liaising with relevant parties.
• Maintain excellent customer service for all CIC clients, including external parties and homes and school.
• Manage positive relationships between CIC managers and clients.
• Facilitate efficient planning of the CIC through various communication platforms, including phone, email, webinars, and face-to-face meetings.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

• You will have experience in one of the following sectors: Event planning/ Activities coordinator/ experience with health and social care/ education/ safeguarding and person-centred care.
