We are recruiting on behalf of our client for Registered Service Manager.
This provider supports people in the own homes and in the community, the post holder will be required to be Registered with the Care Quality Commission for the regulated activity of personal care.
In addition to the above you will ensure new business is integrated and new processes are embedded into operations and all Governance monitoring, reporting and actions are completed as required.
THE ROLE
As a Registered Service Manager for this client, you would support in ensuring the promotion of the highest standard of care and to safeguard and support the development of all clients.
Communicate and implement business strategies. Deputise for the Operational Manager as part of the leadership team to ensure business strategies are communicated and implemented locally.
• Understand current and future trends in the Adult and Children’s Health and Social Care Sector and work collaboratively with key stakeholders on local strategies.
• Empowered to make decisions within parameters of delegated authority.
• Plan and direct the work of each service to ensure resources are utilised effectively and contract KPI’s are delivered.
• Promote the welfare and safeguarding children/younger people and adults through adhering to company policy and strategy and recognise and report trends.
• Line management responsibility for the staff within area of accountability.
• Drive quality to ensure registered services receive a ‘Good’ rating at minimum and non-registered services achieve good outcomes from any audits.
• Provide strong leadership, including the ability to influence, motivate and inspire others.
• To set and monitor performance objectives for staff.
• In line with company policies and procedures on performance management uphold the position of investigation manager and ensure fair and consistent evidence-based decisions are made to protect customers, staff and the company reputation.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE
⦁ Proven experience as a manager within the social care sector
⦁ An excellent understanding of the customer and demonstrable experience of developing and delivery services that are customer focused.
⦁ Full clean driving licence
⦁ NVQ level 5 in a relevant subject
⦁ A range of ICT skills, including Microsoft Office, and an appetite to embrace the digitalisation agenda
⦁ Willingness to expand on knowledge and undertake training
⦁ A passion for supporting individuals and encouraging independence
⦁ Good communicator on all levels
⦁ Excellent Commitment and reliability
⦁ Experience as a motivational and inspiring people manager

You will be responsible for leading a brand new team of staff to ensure the safe care of up to 6 adults with complex needs, such as severe learning disabilities, behaviour that challenges, ASD and physical health needs.

THE ROLE

To assist the homes Manager and group managers in the effective management of the home and assume delegated responsibilities. Promote the development of staff through training and regular supervision, ensuring a high standard of professional care, safeguarding, and protecting the wellbeing of the service users.

• To meet the needs of and promote the development of all living within the home.
• Work in partnership with the staff team and other professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of all individuals.
• Have experience and knowledge of the CQC framework.
• Develop a confident, competent, and consistent staff team and provide leadership and guidance.
• Be involved in the recruitment and retention of staff.
• Ensure staff are adequately trained, supported, and supervised.

• You will have 2 years’ experience of working in care homes for vulnerable people with emotional, behavioural, and special needs.
• Prior experience as a Deputy Manager or Team Leader

• NVQ level 3 or above
