SHEQ Manager

A leading organization in energy infrastructure is seeking an experienced and driven SHEQ Manager to support its growing portfolio of major projects, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and photovoltaic (PV) installations. • Salary: Circa £45,000 per annum.

The Role:

The SHEQ Manager will be responsible for implementing and maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental management across the company’s operations. A key focus will be ensuring compliance with Information Test Plans (ITPs) for generation sites, particularly for BESS and PV projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and refining SHEQ policies and ensuring adherence across all projects.
• Managing and overseeing ITP processes to meet project and regulatory requirements.
• Conducting audits and inspections to maintain compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Leading incident investigations and implementing preventative measures.
• Collaborating with teams and stakeholders to embed a culture of continuous improvement.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Proven expertise in a SHEQ management role, ideally within renewable energy or construction.
• Strong working knowledge of ITPs and their application in generation projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of relevant safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• A proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
