This temporary work for a storeman is for an ongoing duration, on a constuction site.
The type of work for a storeman will be:
- Receive, inspect, and record deliveries of M&E materials and equipment
- Maintain accurate stock levels and inventory records
- Issue materials, tools, and equipment to engineers and subcontractors
- Ensure the store is kept clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards
- Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies
- Coordinate with site managers and procurement teams for material requirements
- Safely store and handle all materials in line with company procedures
- Assist with loading/unloading deliveries when required
You must have previous proven experience in working as a storeman

For this position, you must have the following:
• RTW in the UK
• ECS card
• Own tools, and previous experience working on industrial projects.

The type of work for a Electrical Improver will be
- Installation of electrical containment including tray, basket, trunking and conduit.
- Fitting and wiring isolators.

Building Control Surveyor
Job Title: Building Control Surveyor

Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Building Control Surveyor to join a local authority team in Peterborough. This role offers the chance to work across a diverse range of projects, ensuring compliance with Building Regulations while supporting safe and high-quality development within the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and process Building Regulation applications, including plan checking and approvals
- Carry out site inspections on residential and commercial developments at various stages
- Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, associated legislation, and health & safety standards
- Provide technical advice and guidance to applicants, contractors, and stakeholders
- Identify and manage non-compliance issues, including recommending corrective actions
- Support enforcement activities where required
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to delivering a high-quality Building Control service
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Building Control Surveyor role (local authority or approved inspector)
- Strong working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction standards
- Relevant qualification in Building Surveying, Construction, or similar discipline
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
