You’ll also spend time at different depots, including regular visits to Southampton, giving you real visibility across the operation.

5+ years’ experience in transport planning

2+ years in a senior or supervisory role

Proven experience leading or mentoring a planning team

Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver

Location: Stowmarket, Suffolk
Rates of pay
PAYE – Between £16.33 – £21.00 per hour (Monday to Sunday AM/PM)
PAYE Auto – Between £18.30 – £23.53 per hour (Monday to Sunday AM/PM)
For this position, you must have the following:
•Curtainsider experience
•Electric pump truck experience
•HGV C+E licence for a minimum of 1 year
•Be PAYE only
We are looking for drivers that can work Monday to Friday and also weekend only drivers that can do Saturday and Sunday every week.

ARC Recruitment are recruiting Production Operatives for a cutting-edge vertical farming facility in Easton, Norwich. This innovative site grows fresh herbs and salads indoors all year round.
This is a great opportunity for ongoing work with the chance of a permanent contract after 12 weeks.

Shift Details
- Initial hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 – 18:00
- Pay rate: £12.71 rising to £12.77 after 2 successful weeks training / £13.68 rising to £13.75 after 2 successful weeks training (PAYE / PAYE AUTO)

Key Responsibilities
As a Production Operative, your duties will include:
- Placing wet mats into aluminium trays
- Accurately seeding mats
- Trimming and sizing products to customer specifications
- Manual weighing and bulk packing of produce
- Packing finished goods ready for distribution
- Preparing production lines for daily operations
- Carrying out hygiene duties including cleaning, mopping, and general tidying
Working Conditions & PPE
- General working area temperature: 18°C
- Packing room temperature: 8°C (suitable clothing recommended)
- Full PPE provided, including:
- Overalls
- Hairnet
- Wellington boots
- Additional PPE such as face masks and safety glasses required in some areas
Candidate Requirements

Due to Location, you will need your own transport to get to site – there are no public transport routes.
Key Duties:
- Operating machinery and hand tools to manufacture uPVC and aluminium window frames
- Assembling and glazing units to production standards
- Measuring, cutting, and preparing materials
- Quality checking finished products for accuracy and finish
- Working to production targets and following health & safety procedures
- General workshop duties and keeping work areas clean and organised
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous manufacturing, production, or assembly experience preferred (but full training given)
