We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Electrician to join a project based in Cheltenham. This is a solid 6-month contract offering consistent work on a busy commercial site.
For this position, you must have the following:

Quantity Surveyor
Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Rate of pay: Paye £33.43ph , Umbrella £45ph DOE (£64,000pa)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 – 17:30 (37 hrs a week)
Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for work?
ARC are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work with Bromsgrove and Redditch Council on a contract basis initially.
As the Quantity Surveyor you will play a key role in the development of appropriate contract documentation, procurement of goods, services and works contracts across Housing Property Services. With the delivery of these contracts the post holder is responsible for the financial measurement and valuation of works, preparing interim payments and final accounts together with all necessary project related financial reports.
For this position, you must have the following:
- Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience in the Construction Industry, covering pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying duties.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying.
- Proven experience in budget management (revenue, capital, and external funding sources).
- Valid UK Driving Licence
This is contract work for 6 months initially but could be extended.

Are you a driven Section Engineer looking to take the next step on major infrastructure projects? We’re representing a leading Tier 1 civil engineering contractor with a strong pipeline of high-profile work across the UK. This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering complex, large-scale projects that shape the future of national infrastructure.
The Role
As Section Engineer, you’ll be responsible for managing a defined section of works on a major heavy civils scheme. You’ll coordinate engineering activities, ensure technical compliance, and support delivery teams to achieve programme, quality, and safety targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day engineering activities within your section
- Ensure works are delivered in line with design specifications and project requirements
- Manage subcontractors and site teams to maintain productivity and standards
- Review and approve RAMS, ITPs, and technical documentation
- Provide setting out and surveying support where required
- Monitor progress against programme and report on key milestones
- Work closely with the Senior Engineer and Project Manager to resolve technical issues
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Section Engineer (or strong Sub Agent/Engineer ready to step up) within heavy civils
- Background in major infrastructure projects (highways, rail, utilities, marine, or structures)
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, QA processes, and site delivery
- Competence in setting out and use of surveying equipment
- Ability to manage teams and communicate effectively across all levels
- Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree)
