We are currently recruiting for Commercial Gas Engineers for the Peterborough area to work in our clients Building Services team carrying out repairs and installations to commercial and industrial contracts. You will be required to work on a range of contracts like shopping centres, police stations, MOD and other industrial buildings. 

Desirable Experience & Qualifications for the role of Commercial Gas Engineer:

• As the Commercial Gas Engineer you will be undertaking breakdowns, planned preventative maintenance, reactive response contracts and installations.
• As the Commercial Gas Engineer you’ll be working on all aspects of commercial gas including (but not limited to) installation and maintenance of boilers, boosters and pipework.
• As the Commercial Gas Engineer you’ll be working up to IGE/UP/1 tightness, strength testing and purging.
• As the Commercial Gas Engineer you will be required to work in a team or on some occasions solo.
• As the Commercial Gas Engineer you’ll need to be NVQ Level 3 qualified with proven experience working in a similar environment
• As the Commercial Gas Engineer you may be required to have Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service clearance due to nature of some of the works. 

Required Experience & Qualification for the role of Commercial Gas Engineer:

• Current commercial gas qualifications 
• Domestic Gas qualifications
• Unvented hot water qualification
• Experience of working within a similar environment – commercial & industrial
• Must have Full UK driving licence
