Our client is an established residential developer, with a reputation for delivering excellent and high quality homes. They are seeking a Trainee Site Manager to work on a new housing development in Lincolnshire.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Planning, Organisation & Management of workload
Staff & Contractor Management and Supervision
Material Scheduling and Ordering
Managing Health & Safety
Building New Homes & Associated Works to meet the Company’s Build Programme and Annual Targets
Management of Quality to ensure the company meets all required standards
Management of Customer Care process
Conduct effective Inspections
Liaise effectively with sales staff, head office, site inspectors etc
Attend and contribute to Site Manager meetings

Desirable Experience & Qualifications:

The desire and ability to develop leadership skills
Commercial awareness
Ability to work as part of a busy team, but also be confident in your own ability & decision making
Good organisational, oral, and written skills
Competent IT skills
Hardworking, dependable and have a very positive attitude
Able to use initiative
Ideally have experience working within the construction industry but not essential
Clean driving licence

Job Title – Carpenter / Multi-trade

Location – Norwich and surrounding areas

Pay rate – £19 per hour (self-employed) (£35,000 if annual PAYE salary) + company vehicle and fuel card.

Our client, a well established family run maintenance contractor is looking for an experienced multi-trade for commercial maintenance and refurbishment works across Norwich and the East Anglia. The work is primarily for a large pub chain carrying out repairs and maintenance across their locations.

Requirements-

– Experience in a multi-trade role.

– Skills in carpentry, painting and decorating, plastering, tiling, floor laying, bricklaying or roofing all an advantage.

– Good customer service skills.

Travel around East Anglia will be required. Travel time paid by agreement.

Hours of work are Monday – Friday mimumum 8 hours but there is no limit on overtime available including weeekends if desired.

Company van and fuel card is provided which can be kept at home.

Long term ongoing work available on a PAYE or self – employed basis.

The role is to start Monday 24th October and will be for 3-4 weeks work.

ARC are seeking an experienced Labourer on behalf of our client, a well-known contractor in Harlow.

We are seeking a labourer to assist with general site duties in Harlow for around 4 weeks.

We require a labourer to start on Monday 17th October.

Daily Responsibilities for a successful labourer would include:

– Keeping the site clean and tidy.

– Assisting with the deliveries coming on and off the site.

– Assisting Kitchen/Bathroom Fitters.

– Helping the trades people within the plots and around the site.

– Working closely with the site management team.

Requirements for the role:

– A valid CSCS Card

– Full PPE (Hard hat, Boots, Highvis, Gloves and Glasses)

– Experience labouring on a busy building site

This labouring contract is Monday – Friday with the working hours of 07:30 – 16:30 Monday to Friday.

There may be some weekend work available.

Hourly Rate :

– £13 per hour – Hybrid
