Company & Project:
Our client is an established residential developer, with a reputation for delivering excellent and high quality homes. They are seeking a Trainee Site Manager to work on a new housing development in Lincolnshire.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Planning, Organisation & Management of workload
- Staff & Contractor Management and Supervision
- Material Scheduling and Ordering
- Managing Health & Safety
- Building New Homes & Associated Works to meet the Company’s Build Programme and Annual Targets
- Management of Quality to ensure the company meets all required standards
- Management of Customer Care process
- Conduct effective Inspections
- Liaise effectively with sales staff, head office, site inspectors etc
- Attend and contribute to Site Manager meetings
Desirable Experience & Qualifications:
- The desire and ability to develop leadership skills
- Commercial awareness
- Ability to work as part of a busy team, but also be confident in your own ability & decision making
- Good organisational, oral, and written skills
- Competent IT skills
- Hardworking, dependable and have a very positive attitude
- Able to use initiative
- Ideally have experience working within the construction industry but not essential
- Clean driving licence
