Company & Project: Our client, a civil engineering company is looking for a site engineer to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Setting out and piling
• Set up site dimensional control and maintain
• Assist and prepare sketches for distribution and ensuring all teams understand the plans
• Liaise with workforce and contractors regarding setting out information
• All relevant Q&A with the project
• Be available and able to communicate well with all teams to ensure technical problems are overcome and queries answered About you:

Desirable Experience & Skills:

• Relevant experience working as a site engineer on civils projects
• CSCS black or gold
• 1st Aid
• SMSTS
• Working knowledge of CAD
• HNC or equivalent

ARC are seeking experienced labourers / site operatives for work on sites in the Newmarket for a temp to perm position.

The chosen candidate will be working for a well established client.

The role is to commence as soon possible.

One permanent the salary is £21,000- £23,000 per annum.

The job includes perm perks: 20 days annual leave plus BHs, Pension Scheme & Uniform(Polo Shirt),etc

Requirements for the role 

• CSCS Card (prefered but not essential)
• Full PPE
• Full UK Driving Licence

Our client, a civil engineering company are looking for a Site Manager to join their team in Diss.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily on-site operations
• Coordinate employee schedules, ensuring adequate coverage
• Enforce all workplace policies and procedures
• Coordinate training and professional development activities for employees
• Maintain and adhere to departmental budget
• Approve project plans
• Address and report safety concerns in a timely manner
• Track and monitors project progress, adhering to prearranged standards
• Ensure compliance across the work site
• Review all project contracts before submitting to management
• Manage sub-contractors to ensure all deadlines are met

Desirable Experience & Qualifications:

• Must have experience on heavy civils and drainage projects
• Strong communication skills with good interpersonal and influencing skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (MS Word, Excel) etc.
• SMSTS and First Aid

Job description: Multi Trade – Void Works 

Location: Huntingdon / Cambridge and surrounding areas

Salary: £32,000 – £34,000 Overtime + company van + fuel card. (Self-Employed options also available)

Our client – a large local social housing contractor providing maintenance services to 1000s of properties across Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire is looking for an experienced multi trade to work on a domestic maintenance social housing contract assisting in the void operations and planned maintenance in properties across the Huntingdon region. The candidate will ideally be a skilled and experienced carpenter multi-trade. 
 
The successful individual will ideally be experienced in completing various day to day repairs/maintenance tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, painting and decorating etc. As a skilled multi- trade operative with relevant experience in planned maintenance and voids works you will be required to undertake a variety of allocated works across the area.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Management of day to day jobs allocated by a central team
• To ensure all assigned tasks are carried out to a safe and efficient standard.
• Promoting the client’s corporate image and excellent service standard
• Making decisions upon specialist experience and knowledge.
• Ensuring compliance at all times with necessary regulations, standards, and legal responsibilities of repair work and contractor compliance.
• Managing van stock effectively.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Experience within a domestic maintenance environment.
• Carpenter / Multi Trade experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, telephone skills and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• An understanding and ability to show excellent customer service skills.

Certificates and Qualifications

• Trade City & Guilds/ NVQ qualification (Preferred)
• Asbestos Awareness Training. (ARC can provide free online certification for this)
• Full UK driving license.

Working hours will be Monday to Friday 8-5pm 

Self-employed options available. The PAYE Salary is £32,000 and the rate will be dependent on the preferred method of payment

A van and fuel card will be issued with this role or full mileage paid. Unlimited overtime available and call out / stand by payments.
