Our client, a large reputable house builder with sites across East Anglia and London are seeking for a Telehandler Operator.

Daily Responsibilities for a successful telehandler would include:

– Assisting with uploading deliveries

– Working with all trades on site to deliver them materials

– Working closely with site management

Requirements for the role:

– A valid Blue CPCS A17/D code including 360 Slew
– Full PPE (Hard hat, Boots, Highvis, Gloves and Glasses)


The contract is ongoing for the right candidate with the working hours of 07:30 – 17.00 Monday to Friday.

Hourly Rate :

– £19.00 – £21 per hour – CIS/ Umbrella payments available

Job description: Multi Trade – Void Works

Location: Grantham and surrounding areas

Salary: £32,000 – £34,000 Overtime + company van + fuel card. (Self-Employed options also available)

Our client – a large local social housing contractor providing maintenance services to 1000s of properties across Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire is looking for an experienced multi trade to work on a domestic maintenance social housing contract assisting in the void operations and planned maintenance in properties across the Grantham region. The candidate will ideally be a skilled and experienced carpenter multi-trader.

The successful individual will ideally be experienced in completing various day to day repairs/maintenance tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, painting and decorating etc. As a skilled multi- trade operative with relevant experience in planned maintenance and voids works you will be required to undertake a variety of allocated works across the area.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Management of day to day jobs allocated by a central team
To ensure all assigned tasks are carried out to a safe and efficient standard.
Promoting the client’s corporate image and excellent service standard
Making decisions upon specialist experience and knowledge.
Ensuring compliance at all times with necessary regulations, standards, and legal responsibilities of repair work and contractor compliance.
Managing van stock effectively.

Knowledge and Experience:

Experience within a domestic maintenance environment.
Carpenter / Multi Trade experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills, telephone skills and interpersonal skills.
Excellent planning and organisational skills.
An understanding and ability to show excellent customer service skills.

Certificates and Qualifications

Trade City & Guilds/ NVQ qualification (Preferred)
Asbestos Awareness Training. (ARC can provide free online certification for this)
Full UK driving license.

Working hours will be Monday to Friday 08:00am to 17:00pm with 30 minutes lunch.

A pay rate of £18 per hour can be offered on a self-employed basis. The PAYE Salary is £32,000 and the rate will be dependent on the preferred method of payment

This labouring contract is long term with the working hours of 07:30 – 16:30 Monday to Friday.
There may be some weekend work available.

Management of commercial and financial aspects of the job.

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in contract management is essential
Experience in dry lining and interiors useful but not essential
Construction Management Degree or HNC in Building Studies would be beneficial however not essential
You must be an excellent and proactive communicator and be willing to manage projects from start to completion.
