The role will commence on 17th February.

Requirements for the role:

– A valid CSCS Card

– Full PPE (Hard hat, Boots, Highvis, Gloves and Glasses)

– Experience working as a Hod Carrier – ideally 1 years experience

This contract is long term with the working hours of 07:30 – 16:30 Monday to Friday.

There may be some weekend work available.

Hourly Rate :

£120-£130 – per day depending on experience

Duties & Responsibilities (including and not limited to):

Administering the Customer Extras on behalf of the business.
Liaising with our Sales Consultants in providing quotations for prospective homeowners on additional specification.
Being accountable for coordinating any agreed works with the relevant Construction teams and supply chains.
Checking paperwork in relation to any subcontractors completed jobs against applications for payment as well as assisting in the weekly payroll submissions for direct employees across the contracts.
Maintaining effective work systems, ensuring all correspondence and documentation is dealt with in a professional and timely manner to meet requirements.
Responding to all other enquires from site or other members of the Commercial team in the office, on the phone and via email.

Desirable Experience:

Computer literate with competency in Microsoft package
Experience working as a Commercial Assistant in the construction industry.

Daily Responsibilities for a successful telehandler would include:

– Assisting with uploading deliveries

Salary: £30,000 basic plus trade plus £2000, company van and fuel card, Price per job payments.

Our client a large local social housing contractor providing maintenance services to 1000s of properties across of East is looking for a Permanent and Full Time Bathroom fitters to cover the Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket areas as part of the planned works team.

The hours of work are 42.5 per week. The area covered is Bury St Edmunds, Thetford, Mildenhall, Cambridge and surrounding areas.

Duties:

The full installation of a bathroom upgrade as part of a planned works upgrade programme.

The ability to read drawings

Basic decorating skills

Ceramic tiling

Floor levelling

Laying of floor tiles

Basic Plumbing

Main Responsibilities:

To be responsible for the effective and efficient installation of HA bathrooms, including all associated works within both occupied and void properties using the required tools.

To assess and carry out accurate planned repairs efficiently and effectively.

To ensure that the work is undertaken in a timely manner, whilst maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

To manage customer enquiries, responding in a professional manner coordinating with our Operations Centre.

Providing out of hours support on a rota based system. Additional remuneration will be incorporated for this.

Candidates must have the following:

Minimum of either full trade Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 2 within a relevant trade OR a proven track record to reflect appropriate trade experience with Bathroom modification

Full UK Driving License

A good knowledge of the general building and construction industry

Good understanding and knowledge of basic Health and Safety

Contract: Full time and permanent

Salary from: £30,000 per annum

Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Our client a local authroity contractor is seeking an approved electrician for repairs and maintenance on void and occupied domestic properties in and around the Ipswich area. This is a long term ongoing contract.

Tasks /experience:

Domestic properties:

Rewires (voids and occupied properties)
EICRs
Completing remedial work

Kitchen /bathroom upgrades
Wiring and installation of hard wired smoke detection

Our client a large social housing contractor responsible for the maintenance and repair of thousands of properties across the east are currently looking for a carpenter/multi-trade to join their team. The role involves being responsible for the effective and efficient repairs on housing including all associated works within both occupied and void properties across the Ipswich area.

The hours of work will be 42.5 per week. The work is on behalf of the local council and housing authorites in Ipswich and the surrounding areas.

Please be aware that you will be required to drive to multiple places of work within a designated area.

Duties

General repairs and maintenance of domestic properties including reponsive day to day repairs and void property refurbishment.

Candidates must have the following:

Minimum of either full trade apprenticeship or NVQ Level 2 within a relevant trade OR a proven track record to reflect appropriate trade experience.

A good knowledge of the general building and construction industry.

Full Valid UK Driving Licence.

Good understanding and knowledge of basic Health and Safety
