About the Role:

Join a leading construction company in Norwich as a CPCS / NPORS Lift Supervisor. We are seeking a skilled professional with the necessary certifications to oversee lifting operations on our projects for 2 weeks starting Wednesday 20th November.

Key Requirements:

• Supervising and coordinating lifting activities on site
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Coordinating with crane operators and riggers
• Conducting pre-use checks on lifting equipment
• Maintaining accurate records of lifting operations
• Providing guidance and support to the lifting team
• Responding to any safety concerns promptly
• Reporting any incidents or near misses

Requirements:

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Lift Supervisor certification
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of lifting operations and safety procedures
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job title: Decorating Labourer

Pay: £14.40 per hour (Hybrid) – Full Night Paid

Hours: Nightshifts (Shifts vary)

Key objective of role: Supporting trades with painting and decorating, property rip outs, setting up and cleaning down sites, assisting with different traders with mixing materials and collecting tools and materials. 

Experience working on a maintenance/construction site as well as painting and decorating is essential. Must be over 25 due to needing to drive work van on their insurance occasionally. 

Must have UK driving licence & under 6 points. 

Must have PPE – Steel toe caps and high vis vest/jacket and basic hand tools.

Duties & Responsibilities of a Floor Layer

• Management of day to day jobs allocated by a central team.

• Actively deal with tenant issues and complaints in a positive and effective manner.

• As a skilled multi- trade operative with relevant experience in maintenance projects, you will be required to undertake a variety of allocated works across your designated area.

Desirable Experience of a Floor Layer

• Experience within a maintenance environment preferred.
• Must have previous experience as a Floor Layer
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• An understanding and ability to show excellent customer service skills when liaising with tenants within occupied properties.

Qualifications & Skills of a Floor Layer

• Must have a minimum level 2 NVQ or be a time-served in Floor, experience in other trades such as, tiling, plastering and painting and decorating are also valued.
• Asbestos Awareness Training. (ARC can provide free online training for this)
• Full UK driving license(manual)

A property maintenance company who are responsible for the repairs and maintenance of social housing properties, are looking for Multi Trader to join their team working in Lincoln and the surrounding area for planned and responsive works. You will be working in the Repairs & Voids Team completing maintenance work as required by tenants, including carrying out essential reactive maintenance, installation and repair works on domestic properties, and any other duties including multi skilling works associated with your core trade.  This is a full-time ongoing role with the prospect of becoming permanent.

• Willingness or experience in using a handheld Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) to complete work and maintain van stocks.
• Holder of a full current driving licence
• Proven interpersonal and technical skills.
