Internal Recruiter
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our client based on the outskirts of Ipswich. This is a permanent, full-time position offering stability and a competitive salary.
The Role
- Monday to Friday working week
- Flexible start times (from 4:00am onwards)
- Collection of trailers, tanks, and containers from Felixstowe for onward delivery and return
- Regular work includes 2 days per week delivering to and collecting from Bury St Edmunds
- Remaining days involve a variety of delivery locations
- No handballing required
Requirements
- Minimum age of 25 (for insurance purposes)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with a clean driving record
- Drivers CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho) card
- At least 2 years’ HGV1 driving experience
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and represent the business professionally

You will be the direct link between our client and their customers, so professionalism and strong communication skills are essential. You must be confident working independently and delivering excellent service at all times.
