Transport Administrator (Temp to Perm Opportunity)
Woolpit, Suffolk
Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
£13.50 per hour (£28,000 equivalent)

We’re recruiting on behalf of a growing logistics business in Woolpit who are looking for a Transport Administrator to join their team. This role starts on a temporary basis but offers a pathway to a permanent position for the right person.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll play a key role in keeping transport operations running smoothly and efficiently. Your day-to-day will include:
- Inputting and monitoring jobs using bespoke transport software
- Tracking deliveries to ensure goods are collected and delivered on time
- Supporting the planning of transport schedules and routes
- Managing transport paperwork such as PODs and driver manifests
- Communicating with drivers, warehouse teams, colleagues, and customers
- Monitoring vehicle movements and delivery progress
- Handling pallet network admin, including discrepancies and revenue checks

This role would suit someone organised, proactive, and confident in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous customer service experience
- Transport or logistics experience
- Experience preparing reports (advantageous)
- Strong multitasking ability and attention to detail
- Confident and professional phone manner
- Calm under pressure with a flexible, problem-solving approach
