Payroll Administrator
Payroll Administrator (Temporary – 3 Months)
A well-established residential construction business based in Cambridge is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team on an initial 3-month temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong payroll experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is available to start immediately.
The Role
- Processing weekly and monthly payroll accurately and on time
- CIS reconciliation and related administration
- Working with Xero payroll/accounting software
- Maintaining payroll records and resolving payroll queries
- Supporting the finance team with additional administrative duties where required
Requirements
- Previous payroll administration experience is essential
- Experience with CIS reconciliation
- Working knowledge of Xero
- Experience within the construction industry would be advantageous but is not essential
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Able to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
The Offer
- £14.00 per hour PAYE

Are you a Labourer looking for work?
ARC are currently looking for a Labourer.
For this position, you must have the following:
• CSCS or ECS
• Driving Licence
• Experience
This temporary work for a Labourer is for an ongoing duration, on a commercial project.
The type of work for a labourer will be genral labouring duties and driving between locations.
You must have previous proven experience in labouring and electrical experience would be an advantage.

Recruitment Consultant
ARC Group Norwich are looking for a motivated, ambitious and sales-driven Recruitment Consultant to join our growing Norwich office.
You do not need previous recruitment experience — full training will be provided. We’re looking for someone with confidence, drive, and the determination to consistently pick up the phone, build relationships, and generate new business opportunities.
This is a fast-paced role focused heavily on sales, business development, and client management. You’ll be responsible for developing new business across the region, maintaining strong client relationships, filling bookings, and becoming a trusted point of contact within the transport and logistics sector.
If you’re target-driven, organised, proactive, and enjoy working in a busy environment where results are rewarded, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
What the role involves:
- Developing new business opportunities across the region
- Making high volumes of outbound sales calls
- Arranging and attending client meetings and site visits weekly
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Filling bookings across multiple regions
- Managing client accounts and daily requirements
- Working closely with HGV drivers and clients on a daily basis
- Reporting weekly figures and activity back to management
- Participating in an on-call rota
What we’re looking for:

- Someone who is not afraid to pick up the phone and consistently make sales calls
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with excellent time management
- Self-motivated and target-driven
