Job Title : Roofer/Multi-trade
Location – King’s Lynn and surrounding area
Salary – £170-190.00 p/d + mileage (CIS s-e)
Our client, a large property maintenance company who provide repairs and maintenance services to commercial properties across the East Anglia, are looking for an experienced Roofer/Multi-Trader to work on a maintenance /construction contract carrying out general repairs and maintenance in properties covering throughout King’s Lynn and the surrounding areas. The candidate will ideally be a skilled and experienced Roofer who also holds skills in other trades.
Duties & Responsibilities of a Roofer / Multi-trade
Management of day-to-day jobs allocated by a central team.
Ensuring all assigned tasks are carried out in a safe and efficient standard.
Promoting the client’s corporate image and excellent service standard on every resident visit.
Actively deal with tenant issues and complaints in a positive and effective manner.
Making decisions upon specialist experience and knowledge.
Ensuring compliance at all times with necessary regulations, standards, and legal responsibilities of repair work and contractor compliance.
As a skilled multi- trade operative with relevant experience in maintenance projects, you will be required to undertake a variety of allocated works across your designated area.
Desirable Experience of a Roofer/ Multi
Experience within a maintenance environment preferred.
Must have previous experience as a Roofer / Multi Trader
Excellent planning and organisational skills.
An understanding and ability to show excellent customer service skills when liaising with tenants within occupied properties.
Requirements for the role:
– Minimum of 3 year Roofing repairs experience either as a roofer and ideally in other trades
– Experience of social housing maintenance (preferred)
– Tower scaffolding and other mobile access equipment (preferred)
– PASMA/TETRA/EASI Deck (preferred)
– Asbestos awareness and manual handling certs (free online courses available if required).
– Full UK driving licence & own van
This Roofing contract is long term with the working hours of 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday with a 30-minute lunch break. There may be some overtime available.
