Location: North London

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am -5pm

Permanent (PAYE) – Contract (CIS) also an option

Salary:  £170per day – £200per day

Company & Project: 

ARC Group are recruiting for experienced Multi Traders for a well established contractor. The successful candidate should have experience working on social housing properties and be responsible for the repairs and maintenance works within voids & occupied and responsive repairs.

Duties & Responsibilities of a Multi Trader:

• As the Multi Trader you’ll cover day to day responsive works.
• As the Multi Trader you’ll be required to work occasion small void works & occupied properties.
• As the Multi Trader you’ll complete allocated works within basic carpentry, tiling, plumbing and plastering would be a bonus!

Desirable Experience & Qualifications for the role of Multi Trader:

• Valid UK driving licence (Essential)
• Experience working on social housing properties
• Health and Safety Aware
• Able to work a selection of trades
• Good IT Skills, able to use inhouse work log system

Job Title – Painter/Decorator

Location – London and South East

Pay rate – £18 per hour + company vehicle

Our client, a well established family run maintenance contractor based in the South East is looking for an experienced painter and decorator for commercial maintenance and refurbishment works across London and the South East.  The work is primarily for a large pub chain carrying out repairs and maintenance across their locations in London and the south.

Requirements-

– NVQ 2 or minimum 5 years experience as a professional Painter and Decorator. 

– Multi-trade skills an advantage.

– Good customer service skills essential

Travel around London and the South East will be required. Travel time paid by agreement. 

Hours of work are Monday – Friday mimumum 8 hours but there is no limit on overtime available including weeekends if desired. 

Company van and fuel card is provided which can be kept at home.

Long term ongoing work available on a PAYE or self – employed basis.  

Immediate start available.

Job Role:    Multi-Trade

Pay Rate:    £160 per day (must have own work vehicle)

Our client, a property maintenance contractor who deliver high quality services to the social housing sector, are seeking a Multi-Trader to join their maintenance team working in void and occupied domestic properties, mainly in Cambridge and the surrounding areas. You will be carrying out maintenance and repairs in kitchens, bathrooms and interiors in void and occupied properties while at the same time offering a high standard of customer service.

Role requirements –

In order to be considered for the role you must have good skills in a variety of trades including carpentry and basic painting, plastering and tiling etc. 

– Asbestos Awareness & Manual Handling Certificates (we can provide access to free online courses)     

– Have own tools and transport

– Experience of facilities or housing maintenance (carpentry background) 

– Preferably have experience of working in social housing or tenanted properties.

– Full driving licence & van required. 

You will need to use your own transport for this role, which is offered on an ongoing basis and has the potential to become permanent. If the role does become permanent, a company van and fuel card may be provided.

Both self-employed and PAYE options are available.

Working hours are 08.00 – 17.00 Monday to Friday with 30min lunch break.
