Duties & Responsibilities of a Air- Conditioning Engineer:

As the Air-Conditioning Engineer you’ll be working on Hotel Groups, Office Buildings, million pound apartments and high end jewellery/commercial buildings.
As the Air-Conditioning Engineer you’ll be conducting Pre-Planned Maintenance works and work on reactive maintenance contracts.
As the Air-Conditioning Engineer you’ll work on small works, replacements and upgrades.
As the Air-Conditioning Engineer you’ll be required to conduct fault finding and diagnostics for repairs.
As the Air-Conditioning Engineer you’ll be required to have experience with AHU’s, VRVs, VRFs, Splits and Multi Split system.

Desirable Experience & Qualifications for the role of Air- Conditioning Engineer:

Experience servicing, maintaining and repairing AC & AHU equipment
Experience working on commercial and high end properties
Must have minimum 3 years experience
Must hold F-Gas Certificate
City & Guilds Level 2/3 qualified

Location: Cambridge and surrounding areas

Pay Rate: £160 per day (must have own work vehicle)

Our client, a property maintenance contractor who deliver high quality services to the social housing sector, are seeking a Multi-Trader to join their maintenance team working in void and occupied domestic properties, mainly in Cambridge and the surrounding areas. You will be carrying out maintenance and repairs in kitchens, bathrooms and interiors in void and occupied properties while at the same time offering a high standard of customer service.

Role requirements –

In order to be considered for the role you must have good skills in a variety of trades including carpentry and basic painting, plastering and tiling etc.

– Asbestos Awareness & Manual Handling Certificates (we can provide access to free online courses)

– Have own tools and transport

– Experience of facilities or housing maintenance (carpentry background)

– Preferably have experience of working in social housing or tenanted properties.

– Full driving licence & van required.

You will need to use your own transport for this role, which is offered on an ongoing basis and has the potential to become permanent. If the role does become permanent, a company van and fuel card may be provided.

Both self-employed and PAYE options are available.

Working hours are 08.00 – 17.00 Monday to Friday with 30min lunch break.

A property maintenance company who are responsible for the repairs and maintenance of social housing properties, are looking for a responsive Plumber / Multi-Trader to join their team working in Cambridge and the surrounding area. You will be working in the Repairs & Voids Team completing maintenance work as required by tenants, including carrying out essential reactive maintenance, installation and repair works on domestic properties, and any other duties including multi skilling works associated with your core trade. This is a full-time ongoing role with the prospect of becoming permanent, you would need to have your own transport as the client cannot guarantee a company van will be available from the start.

Responsibilities of a Plumber / Multi-Trader:

Work in a safe, professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all works are carried out with all due regard to the Health and Safety of all persons that may be affected by the works.
Undertake the duties and responsibilities of the post and at all times ensuring compliance with our Health & Safety Policy, Risk Assessments, Safe Working Practices, COSHH Assessments and all relevant Health & Safety Regulations.
Conduct yourself in a manner that will bring credit to yourself in all dealings with our customers and the public in general.
Availability to work flexible working hours

Desirable Experience of a Plumber / Multi-Trader:

DDA preferred but not essential
Experience in maintenance and repair work in occupied residential properties including all aspects of plulmbing, basic carpentry, tiling and plastering works
Proven experience in all aspects of planned works and repairs

Qualifications & Skills of a Plumber / Multi-Trader:

City & Guilds Level 2 or NVQ level 2 or equivalent in plumbing and heating installation.
Proven ability to produce work consistently to a high standards
Ability to complete relevant certification for Plumbing works self-motivated able to work on your own initiative
Willingness or experience in using a handheld Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) to complete work and maintain van stocks.
Holder of a full current driving licence
Proven interpersonal and technical skills.

As the Maintenance Plumber you’ll be required to maintain, repair and install various household appliances.
As the Maintenance Plumber you’ll be proficient with cutting, solvent welding, Mapp press and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings and fixtures.
As the Maintenance Plumber you’ll be inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code of practice and regulation compliant.
As the Maintenance Plumber you’ll be handling customer queries and responding to call outs
As the Maintenance Plumber you’ll be required to prepare cost estimates with suppliers.

Desirable Experience & Qualifications for the role of Maintenance Plumber:

2+years experience as a fully qualified plumber
Good working knowledge of water supplies and regulations & heating systems
Proficient in reading on site schematics and using various plumbing tools
Good Listening and communication skills
Trade qualifications is essential
