Our client is looking for Multi Trade Operatives with Plumbing experience to work on Reactive & Void properties around the Norwich area. You will be required to ensure planned works, responsive and void repairs are carried out efficiently and effectively with high quality service. This is a temporary to permanent contract.

Duties & Responsibilities of a Multi Skill Plumber:

• As the Multi Skill Operative you’ll be responsible for delivery of repairs and maintenance works within void and responsive repair service.
• As the Multi Skill Operative you’ll complete allocated works which will fall within operative’s trade / skill set but could range from carpentry, plumbing, groundworks, painting/decorating, external works, tiling, plastering etc
• As the Multi Skill Operative you’ll ensure that the work is undertaken in a timely manner consistent with prescribed performance indicators advised.
• As the Multi Skilled Operative you’ll deal with tenant enquiries and respond in a professional manner reporting anything back to the relevant manager.
• As the Multi Skilled Operative you’ll be required to comply with the policies and practices of the Association, to deliver and act in accordance with the Dignity & Diversity Policy and to be responsible for undertaking working practices in a safe manner in accordance with the Association’s Health and Safety Policy.
• As the Multi Skilled Operative you’ll work closely with the Local Delivery Manager, Local Delivery Team Leader & the Senior Operative (if applicable) in all aspects of the repairs and maintenance service as required.
• As the Multi Skilled Operative you’ll need to refer complex technical queries to the relevant manager in the Technical Services team.

Desirable Experience & Qualifications for the role of Multi Skill Plumber:

• Minimum of either full trade Apprenticeship or NVQ level two or appropriate trade experience within at least 2 different trades
• Plumbing experience in essential
• Good written and spoken communication
• Experience working on property maintenance & social housing
• Experience working directly with customers
• Basic/good IT Skills, (working with emails & smart phones)
• Health and Safety Qualification
• Valid Driving Licence

• As the Domestic Electrician you’ll be working on Social Housing properties in the Norwich area
• As the Domestic Electrician you’ll be required to carry out fault diagnosis, repair and install electrical installation works
• As the Domestic Electrician you’ll be ensuring that installations comply with design, quality and installation standards, and that operational activities comply with contractual, Health & Safety and the latest Electrical regulatory requirements.
• As the Domestic Electrician you’ll be required to liaise with the scheduling team on the completion of the work including where appropriate, the planning of the work to ensure the most effective use of time and resources.
• As the Domestic Electrician you’ll be required to complete the relevant training for non-Licensed asbestos works to enable the removal and disposal of some electrical fittings.
• As the Domestic Electrician you’ll be required to undertake electrical repairs and installation to a high standard and complete tasks as allocated by the supervisor or scheduling team/line Manager.

Required Experience & Qualification for the role of Domestic Electrician:

• City & Guilds Electrical Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification (2391-52)
• City & Guilds 2382 – 18^th Edition
• Have a good knowledge in all electrical domestic’s installation & repair works
• Prove good practice of health & safety regulations
• UK Driving licence
