Our client, a property maintenance company who carry out repairs and maintenance on social housing properties, are looking for a Multi-Trader to carry our general maintenance and repairs on void (empty) local authority domestic properties in Peterborough, Boston and the surrounding area. The candidate will ideally hold a minimum Level 2 NVQ quallification or be time-served in carpentry, whilst also being experienced in completing various other day-to-day repairs and maintenance tasks including plumbing, plastering tiling, painting and decorating etc.

Key Duties and Responsibilities of the Multi Trader:

• As the Multi Trader you’ll use system thats allocates day-to-day jobs by a central team.
• As the Multi Trader you’ll ensure all assigned tasks are carried out in a safe and efficient standard.
• As the Multi Trader you’ll promote the client’s corporate image and excellent service standard on every resident visit.
• As the Multi Trader you’ll make decisions upon specialist experience and knowledge.
• As the Multi Trader you’ll ensure compliance at all times with necessary regulations, standards, and legal responsibilities of repair work and contractor compliance.
• As the Multi Trader you’ll take part in out of hours on call system as required by the service.

Knowledge and Experience for the Multi Trader

• Experience within a domestic maintenance environment.
• Relevant experience in responsive maintenance and voids works you will be required to undertake a variety of allocated works as required by the client.
• Carpenter / Multi Trade experience
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• An understanding and ability to show excellent customer service skills.

Certificates and Qualifications

• Trade City & Guilds/ NVQ qualification.
• Full UK driving license.
