Duties & Responsibilities of a Resident Liaison Officer:

• As the Resident Liaison Officer you’ll be required to fully liaise between the Client, Site Project Team & Residents verbally and in writing to progress required works with minimum disruption to residents while endeavouring to maintain steady workflow for Subcontractors.
• As the Resident Liaison Officer you’ll ensure and maintain the Resident Liaison daily diary, record incidents and appointments
• As the Resident Liaison Officer you’ll submit weekly RLO Reports to Site Manager / Contracts Manager.
• As the Resident Liaison Officer you’ll have an understanding of the works, programme and scope of works.
• As the Resident Liaison Officer you’ll provide information for site reports and updates for client and site management.
• As the Resident Liaison Officer you’ll compile procedures and administration to complement your role
• As the Resident Liaison Officer you’ll issue four week letter & induction letters
• As the Resident Liaison Officer you’ll advise of any bookings and appointments, where access is denied & liaise with client’s RLO or Housing Officer.
• As the Resident Liaison Officer you’ll make sure claims, compensation, and complaints are dealt with within a timescale and with care.

Duties & Responsibilities of a Quantity Surveyor:

• As the Quantity Surveyor you’ll measure & estimate accurately & efficiently
• As the Quantity Surveyor you’ll be required to control cost & maximise value
• As the Quantity Surveyor you’ll mitigate risk using correct contractual procedures
• As the Quantity Surveyor you’ll be required to produce accurate monthly valuations on time
• As the Quantity Surveyor you’ll access, value, and process labour & subcontractor payments, resolving any disputes promptly
• As the Quantity Surveyor you’ll manage workforce and client for the contract
• As the Quantity Surveyor you’ll aim to achieve best cashflow and variance Analysis

We are currently looking for a qualified Electrician to work for one of our clients, a reputable building and roofing company based in Norwich. You will be responsible for the completion of planned electrical works and one-off M&E projects.  This will involve bespoke domestic and commercial installation, commissioning and certification including client training and handover.

Working hours are 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities of an Electrician

• Simultaneously working on projects, ensuring compliance of each project or contract and recording variations whilst ensuring the project is delivered on time and within agreed commercial parameters.
• Ensuring that installations comply with design, quality and installation standards, and that operational activities comply with contractual, Health & Safety and the latest Electrical regulatory requirements.
• Carrying out bespoke installation and undertaking PAT testing.
• Completing all paperwork including labour returns, timesheets and material allocations.
• Managing electrical materials for relevant tasks.
• Working alongside operational and commercial colleagues to build, manage and motivate an effective and cohesively performing team.
• Ensuring timely handover of completed projects against the programme of works, targeting ‘zero’ defects at handover.
• Ensuring statutory and company Health, Safety and Environmental procedures are adhered to.
• Continually reviewing daily resources / delivery solutions with a view to maximising operational capabilities, delivery, efficiencies, and bottom line contribution.
• Mentoring and supporting Electrical Apprenticeship placements through to qualified status.
• Implementing continuous improvement and total customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrating an appetite for growth and improved service, proactively seek new business opportunities and fostering organic growth with existing clients.

Desirable Experience of an Electrician 

• Competent in the installation, repair and maintenance of domestic and commercial electrical equipment and components
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in building refurbishment and property improvement works
• Organised and efficient Site Management skills
• Knowledge of CDM and Health & Safety regulations

Qualifications of an Electrician

• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical Installations (Installation, Buildings and Structures) or equivalent
• City & Guilds Electrical Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification (2391-52)
• City & Guilds PAT Tester (2377-22)
• Trained in latest BS 7671 18^th Edition requirements
• Experience of renewable energy (PV) installations and EV charging points would be advantageous
• Construction Skills Certification Scheme Card holder (CSCS)
• Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) qualification would be desirable
• Strong experience of co-ordinating multiple projects

Skills of an Electrician

• Previous customer facing experience essential
