We are seeking a 360 Operator to assist with general site duties starting Monday 1st August.

Requirements for the role:

– A valid CPCS/NPORS Card

– Full PPE (Hard hat, Boots, Highvis, Gloves and Glasses)

– Experience on a busy building site (Ideally 3 year’s experience)

This 360 contract is Monday – Friday with the working hours of 07:30 – 16:30 Monday to Friday.

Hourly Rate :

– £20-£21 per hour – CIS Payments available

At leasy 9 hours paid per day

Are you an experienced Labourer looking for long term work?

Our client, a large reputable house builder with sites across East Anglia, London and Essex are seeking a long term working labourer to assist with general site duties in Grays.

Daily Responsibilities for a successful labourer would include:

– Keeping the site clean and tidy.
– Assisting with the deliveries coming on and off the site.
– Helping the trades people within the plots and around the site.
– Working closely with the site management team.

Requirements for the role:

– A valid CSCS Card
– Full PPE (Hard hat, Boots, Highvis, Gloves and Glasses)
– Experience labouring on a busy building site

This labouring contract is long term with the working hours of 07:30 – 16:30 Monday to Friday.
There may be some weekend work available.

Hourly Rate :

Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge? Our client, a design and build company are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Wembley.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Interim payment applications, valuations, variations, final accounts
Managing sub-contract accounts
Day-to-day administration of the commercial function of the project(s)
Ensuring full compliance with all contractual requirements/responsibilities
Take-offs, measurement, scheduling, preparation of Bills of Quantities (BoQ)
Monitor all ongoing contract costs against those detailed in the original tender

Desirable Experience:

The role requires an experienced Quantity Surveyor, with at least 3+ years of practical experience working for a main contractor.
You will be responsible for the commercial management of a number of projects, throughout the full life cycle of the project, including the execution of commercial, financial and contractual matters for a number of projects throughout the full project life cycle.
The QS will be expected to identify and communicate any commercial risks and go out of their way to deliver outstanding client satisfaction.
You must be robust and comfortable with communicating complex or sensitive issues to Clients and other stakeholders.
You should have a calm professional approach and the ability to resolve disputes with factual, well-reasoned explanations.
They must have a strong track record of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with Clients and other stakeholders at all levels.
The ideal candidate will be organised and have exceptional attention to detail. They must be able to meticulously manage costs and variations to contracts to keep the project on track.

Qualifications & Skills:

Commercially astute with proven experience within a commercial role in the Construction Industry
Excellent working knowledge of the JCT and RICS Standard Methods of Measurement (SMM)
Experience working with a Main Contractor or Developer on high end residential projects from start to finish
BSc degree in Quantity Surveying
Computer literate with strong skills in Microsoft Office Applications (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint/Project)
Comfortable managing multiple projects from inception to completion
Ability to prioritise workload and deliver on conflicting demands
Advanced knowledge of construction processes, procedures, methods and equipment
Expert knowledge of building products and materials, construction processes, methods and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
Ability to accurately read technical drawings, calculations and measurements
Ability to read technical specifications and assimilate large volumes of tender information
Excellent time and project management skills
You must be personable, articulate and confident to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
Client facing, polished and a strong communicator
