Requirements for the role:

– A valid CPCS/NPORS Card
– A valid CSCS Card
– Full PPE (Hard hat, Boots, Highvis, Gloves and Glasses)


This contract is long term with the working hours of 07:30 – 16.30 Monday to Wednesday.

Hourly Rate :

– £23-26 per hour – CIS/ Umbrella payments available

Job Title – Carpenter / Multi-trade

Location – Brighton and South Coast area

Pay rate – £19 per hour (self-employed) (£35,000 if annual PAYE salary) + company vehicle and fuel card.

Our client, a well established family run maintenance contractor is looking for an experienced multi-trade for commercial maintenance and refurbishment works across Brighton and the South Coast. The work is primarily for a large pub chain carrying out repairs and maintenance across their locations.

Requirements-

– Experience in a multi-trade role.

– Skills in carpentry, painting and decorating, plastering, tiling, floor laying, bricklaying or roofing all an advantage.

– Good customer service skills.

Travel around Brighton and the South Coast will be required. Travel time paid by agreement.

Hours of work are Monday – Friday mimumum 8 hours but there is no limit on overtime available including weekends if desired.

Company van and fuel card is provided which can be kept at home.

Long term ongoing work available on a PAYE or self – employed basis.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Oversee daily on-site operations
Coordinate employee schedules, ensuring adequate coverage
Enforce all workplace policies and procedures
Coordinate training and professional development activities for employees
Maintain and adhere to departmental budget
Approve project plans
Address and report safety concerns in a timely manner
Track and monitors project progress, adhering to prearranged standards
Ensure compliance across the work site
Review all project contracts before submitting to management
Manage sub-contractors to ensure all deadlines are met

Desirable Experience & Qualifications:

Relevant experience working on residential projects as a site manager
Strong communication skills with good interpersonal and influencing skills

Our client a large local social housing contractor providing maintenance services to 1000s of properties across of East is looking for a Full Time Wet room / Bathroom Fiitter. As part of our planned works team you will be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of Bathroom and Wet room refurbishments and installs including all associated works within both occupied and unoccupied properties.

The hours of work will be 42.5 per week. The area covered is Kings Lynn, Wisbech and surrounding areas.

Duties:

The installation of full bathrooms and wet rooms

Basic carpentry

Ceramic tiling

Plumbing including level access showers

Candidates must have the following:

Minimum of either full trade Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 2 within a relevant trade OR a proven track record to reflect appropriate trade experience with Bathroom modification.

Ability to demonstrate technical skills in both core trade and associated trades.

Ability to display excellent Customer Service skills both internally and externally, generating a positive working environment.

A good knowledge of the general building and construction industry.

Full Valid UK Manual Driving Licence.

Good understanding and knowledge of basic Health and Safety.

Own works vehicle required with mileage paid. There may be an opportunity to have a company van at a later date.
