We are currently looking for an Area Sales Engineer to join our client’s team covering the Suffolk area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a sales engineer to join an innovative and growing business.

As an area sales engineer your role will involve, utilising industry and equipment knowledge to target and generate new sales leads, as well as, develop new opportunities with existing clients. Full product training and support will be given to the successful candidate.

The role:

• Selling welding products directly from your van covering the Suffolk area.
• Providing an outstanding customer service to new and existing clients.
• Managing your stock effectively to ensure that you maximise your customers’ sales.
• Forwarding orders/enquiries to the sales offices.
• Liaising with Manufacturers and in-house technical support team to resolve customer queries.
• Arrange/carrying out demonstrations of welding equipment & consumables to your customers.

Experience/Knowledge:

The client expects the driver and staff members to keep their vehicles in good condition and ensure that the loads are delivered safely. The vehicle must always be kept clean which means smoking in the cab is not permitted.
