HGV Class 1 Curtainsider Drivers Needed In Ipswich Area.

Due to continued growth and securing a new prestigious contract with a leading logistics company in Suffolk area, we are urgently seeking to recruit for experienced HGV 1 Curtainsider Drivers to work on-going. 

THE ROLE
Working as a HGV 1 tramper driver delivering and collecting trailers nationwide.

*Please note* This position is on-going through our agency. Must be willing to drive left hand drive if need be and work on curtainsiders / containers. 

SHIFTS – Monday – Friday tramping work. Weekend work also often available.

CLIENT LOCATION: Ipswich area

PAYE, Umbrella, Self employed and LTD schemes available.

PAY RATES HGV 1:

PAYE day shift – £130 per shift.

PAYE Saturday rate – £14ph

PAYE Sunday rate – £16ph

LTD / Umbrella / SE day shift – £170 per shift

LTD / Umbrella / SE Saturday rate – £17ph

LTD / Umbrella / SE Sunday rate – £20ph 

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE
• Experience – minimum of 6 months hgv driving experience commercially in the UK;
• Qualifications and Licences – Driving Licence with C+E category, CPC Qualification Card, Tacho Card;
• Always be professional and have a positive attitude towards customers;
• Basic understanding and speaking English;

the Role:

• HGV 1 drivers required for working with a well-established general haulage distributor 
• Minimum 6 months experience required
• Working as a HGV driver you will be required to do the following within the role (loading and delivering pallets to clients around the country, class 1 container experience preferable)
• 1 years driving experience in the uk needed, container experience preferable
• Qualifications – C+E license, digi card, CPC, rhides card preferable.
• Monday to Friday requirements needing cover with the occasional run in on Saturdays (10/12hr days)
• Free training on the only specialist HGV driving simulator approved by the FTA in the UK 
• Any extras/bonuses (£100 bonus for refering a friend to work with ARC)

Due to continued growth with a leading logistics company in Immingham, Lincolnshire we are urgently seeking to recruit for an experienced hgv class 1 driver to work all year round on left-hand drive vehicles.

Working as a hgv 1 driver delivering general haulage goods to end user. You would be working with 3 main ports – Immingham, Felixstowe and Purfleet.

This position is permanent through our agency and work is available all year round.

SHIFTS
Monday to Friday tramping or odd nights out (£25 per night out paid) + weekend work available.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE
