This work has the potential to be ongoing, however, at the moment this will only be for relief cover, I.E Holiday cover, Paternity/Maternity cover, etc.

Job details:

• Multi drop

Requirements:

• At least, a minimum of 6 months experience driving a HGV Class 2

• Full UK licence
• Valid right to work

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Watching weekly truck check videos and spotting damages;
• Arranging damage repairs with our mechanics;
• Communicating with our clients in a professional manner in regards to the damages & costs;
• Ordering truck parts for the repairs from our suppliers;
• Answering phone calls/speaking to drivers regarding damages & costs;
• Supporting our team with any outstanding admin tasks;

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

• Transport/Haulage background preferred but not required;
• Attention to detail is key;
• Good understanding and speaking English;
• Full training on the job will be provided;
• Organisation skills;
• Using own initiative;
• Knowledge in Microsoft Word/Excel

ARC Driving are working with a client in Grays, Essex. Situated in an accessible location making it easy to get to when you start and finish your shift.

Our client is looking for HGV Class 1 NIGHT drivers to help deliver on their projects in 2024. They will provide training for the successful applicants and they are looking for 2 drivers to work alongside them on an ongoing basis.

This is for skilled drivers container experience.

The ideal HGV Class 1 driver will have:
