ARC are celebrating a great first quarter of 2025 in our first year following a successful management buyout.
A group of four long-term employees took over the reins at ARC Group last year, looking to further bolster our position as a regional recruitment powerhouse.
The takeover group includes brothers Adam and Darren Miller, alongside Josie Davies and Abbie Ross – who between them have more than 35 years’ experience at ARC.
Among their first steps have been opening new offices in Cambridge and Rugby as we continue our expansion across the Midlands.

Previous owners Chris Ford and Matthew Noake retain significant stakes in ARC Group and remain on our board of directors.
Adam, who first joined as a Business Development Manager in 2014, said: “Signing the deal was a really exciting moment, it was something we’d all been looking forward to.
“We’ve started 2025 off really strong, but there’s a long way to go to meet our goals.
“We don’t want to reinvent the wheel. We want to keep doing what we do best and expand into new areas.
“Chris is still around to coach and mentor us whenever we need him, which is a great asset to have.”
Josie, who has worked at ARC since 2016, added a big part of our strategy going forward will be to develop leading recruitment specialists from within, giving staff opportunities to grow with the business.
She said: “We’ve got big things bubbling away behind the scenes. While we’re undoubtedly excited, our main focus is on growing the business and strengthening our position as a leading recruitment agency.
“So much of our growth is thanks to the people in the company – we’re a people-focused business and are always happy to support each other.”
Chris added the mix of skill sets in the takeover group will make for a successful future for the business.
He said: “Each of them has been with the business for a long time and I’ve witnessed their growth and progression first-hand.
“I think they are going to do very well. It’s an exciting time for everyone involved.
“It was always our plan to hand the business over, and we thought an MBO would be a great way to ensure stability and build on the ethos on which we launched the business.
“I’ll still be here to support the team through the next stages and to ensure a smooth transition, giving them all the advice they need.”
