Canaries legend to join ARC team on colossal coastal charity challenge

ARC Group are taking on an extraordinary 150-mile fundraising challenge alongside Canaries legend Grant Holt which will see them cross the finish line at a packed-out Carrow Road.

A team from ARC will join Grant and fellow fundraisers on the 60-hour walk around the Norfolk coastline, starting in King’s Lynn on Wednesday, April 16 and ending at the home of Norwich City before their Good Friday clash against Portsmouth.

The walk is the brainchild of Grant and our Director Adam Miller, alongside local financier Richard Pearce.

Why we’re walking

We’re walking to support two incredible charities, Norwich City Community Sports Foundation (CSF) and The Big C, both of which play a vital role in making a difference in people’s lives.

The Big C is a cancer charity which has a deep, personal connection to ARC. In 2023, ARC Directors Adam and Darren tragically lost their dad. The Big C provided invaluable support, not just during his illness but beyond – even helping to arrange their sister’s wedding in the hospital chapel so their dad could be part of her special day. Their care extended beyond medical support, offering comfort and guidance through a difficult time.

CSF is dedicated to improving lives through sport. Their work boosts mental health, wellbeing and inclusion, helping people of all ages reach their potential. They have been instrumental in organising this challenge, and we’re proud to support their ongoing efforts in the community.

It is hoped the walk will raise a whopping £50,000 to support these two fantastic causes.
