REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

• Experience – minimum of 6 months hgv driving experience commercially in the UK;
• PAYE or Umbrella only
• Qualifications and Licences – Driving Licence with C+E category, CPC Qualification Card, Tachograph Card;
• Always be professional and have a positive attitude towards customers;
• Basic understanding and speaking English;

in Basildon, Essex where ‘You’ the person are key. Their employees are directly involved in the

They are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Admin Assistant within the motor trade.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will work within the operations team, ensuring
the necessary tasks are completed to meet their company demands, deliver excellent
service and control costs. The role will involve admin and account roles and organising tasks.

Key tasks:

● Completing day to day tasks
● Controlling and tracking drivers
● Communication with Drivers, colleagues, and Continental Offices
● Using internal software to input bookings
● Plan and organise the delivery/collection of goods to/from customers
● Ensure customers are kept up to date with delivery/collection times
● Operational administration as required
● Booking and tracking of shipments

As the Transport Planner you will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in trailer planning or
trucking environment and industry experience (short sea ro-ro market) would be advantageous
but not essential. You will have good communication skills. Ideally you will have good IT skills
and knowledge of UK geography.
