ARC Industrial are recruiting on behalf of one our clients, for Production Operatives In East Harling and Snetterton. This role is ongoing with a permanent contract available.

The Role

As a Production Operative with this award winning company, there’s no such thing as a dull day. 

Candidates must be physically fit as the role involves some heavy lifting and manual handling, You will be assisting in the manufacturing of trusses, joists and panels but other duties may be required, working safely and efficiently, ensuring the work environment is kept clean and tidy. Candidates must be capable of working under pressure in order to meet deadlines.

Full training will be provided however experience of using a range of hand tools and pneumatic tools such as nail guns would be beneficial 

You must have the following:

• Safety shoes and High Vis
• Transport due to location

Job Title: Field Trials Officer
Location: Snetterton 
Days of work: Weekdays – Weekend overtime available
Rate of pay: £26,000 – £28,000 

ARC Industrial are recruiting on behalf of our well establised Vegetable Consultancy firm in Norfolk for a Permenant Field Trials Officer

Working hours:  8am to 4pm. Monday to Friday 

Job description

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

1) Assistance with the design, Set-up, and establishment of field trials.

2) Assistance with the implementation of field trials work, assessment, grading and reporting.

3) Responsibility for several trials designated to your portfolio.

4) Contribution to trial records ORETO compliance.

5) General support within the wider activities of VCS (UK) Ltd, as required.

6) Aid the team in large research-based projects.

£26 – 28k per annum, paid monthly in arrears. This will be reviewed in March. A discretionary performance linked bonus is considered annually, paid end of March. Salary dependant on experience and candidate.

• Pension  The company will contribute 5% of your salary into The Provided pension scheme offered to all companies within the origins group.
• Vehicle: A vehicle will be provided for business and private use. All business and private mileage is to be logged daily and submitted monthly. Fuel Cards also provided.
• Other equipment: A laptop and mobile phone will be provided for business use. Annual Wellbeing allowance claimable.

Holiday: Statutory entitlement of 28 days paid annual leave.

Period of notice: 3-month notice is necessary from either part

Location: East Harling
Days of work: 07:00 – 15:15, Monday – Friday
Rate of pay: £11.00ph – £12.50ph

ARC are currently recruiting for Factory Packing Operatives for one of our clients based in East Harling.

The assembling of components and the picking and packing of customer orders

For this role you will need:

• Good level of verbal and written communication
• The ability to work in a team and provide input where required
• To be well organised, flexible and reliable
• Have the ability to take responsibility for the tasks assigned to you
• Good manufacturing and packing knowledge
• Physically fit and strong individual happy and able to work in an active role that involves lifting

Main Tasks of Job:

1)       The preparation of components into a finished kit/ order.

2)       The assembling of components into a finished product.

3)       The collating, picking and packing of customer orders based on email and communication from Sales and Service team.

4)       Maintaining high levels of quality, workplace tidiness and cleanliness

5)       Adhering to Company Risk Assessments.

6)       Following all company rules regarding Health and Safety as outlined in Policy and Procedures book.
