Due to continued growth with a leading logistics company in Immingham, Lincolnshire we are urgently seeking to recruit for an experienced hgv class 1 driver to work all year round on left-hand drive vehicles. You would be working with 3 main ports – Immingham, Felixstowe and Purfleet.

This position is permanent through our agency and work is available all year round.

SHIFTS
Monday to Friday tramping or odd nights out (£25 per night out paid) + weekend work available.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

Experience – minimum of 6 months hgv driving experience commercially in the UK;
Left-hand drive experience preferred;
Qualifications and Licences – Driving Licence with C+E category, CPC Qualification Card, Tachograph Card;
Always be professional and have a positive attitude towards customers;
Basic understanding and speaking English;

Days: Monday to Friday

• Experience with 3 axis CNC machining
• Expertise configuring and running 3 and 4 axis CNC machines.
• To be able to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Configure a variety of laser, 3 and 4 axis CNC machine tools by installing and changing work holding devices, tooling and other components

Job role:

Ensure measurements are within the specified tolerances

Using a variety of inspection equipment, ensure component conformance to engineering drawings and quality processes.

Maintain and enhance timing specifications.

CNC laser cutting

Conducting essential daily machine maintenance

For each work control sheet – Ensure batch numbers, drawing numbers, weight and dimensions are correct, signed off by the operative and checked and signed off and handed over to the production office

Maintain a high standard of cleanliness

Comply with health and safety rules as outlined in company policies

Always comply with business policy

To assist with any additional ad-hoc work as needed

Do any reasonable tasks that may be requested by the business from time to time inside production or elsewhere as needed
