ARC is recruiting for a full-time Mechanical Fitter in Marham Site, King’s Lynn.

Main responsibilities of the Compressor Engineer- Servicing and maintenance of all types of air compressor (screw type, vane type and reciprocating) and ancillary equipment such as dryers and filtration, etc.

• Assistance with insurance inspections and preparation of vessels
• Installation of aluminium and galvanised steel pipework
• Diagnosis of faults and identify parts required
• Carry out repair work on site and in our workshop
• Breathing air tests
• Complete relevant paperwork in detail
• Installation and commissioning of industrial air compressors and equipment

This will be working a 37.5 hour week (8:30AM- 5:00PM, Monday- Friday) with overtime and call out pay available.

We would welcome compressor service engineers to apply for the role that have:- Mechanical or electrical qualifications (we understand you may be qualified by experience)

• Previous compressor and pneumatic experience (ideal but not essential)
• Full UK driving license preferably clean
• Physically fit with plenty of energy
• Have the ability to be flexible as sometimes work may need to be out of normal hours
• Be confident with customers and own ability
• Basic organisation skills
• Enthusiastic and motivated with the ability to remain calm under pressure

Main responsibilities of the Mechanical & Electrical Project Supervisor:

Client requires an experienced MEP Site Supervisor to initiate and deliver projects in our Cambridge office.

The position is site based and you will ideally have a background in the mechanical & electrical/building industry and significant experience of project supervision and management roles. MS Word, Excel and Outlook skills are essential.

You will work as a team to effectively deliver the project, not only being responsible for the delivery of the works onsite but doing this whilst keeping strict attention to quality, health and safety and compliance. You will report to the MEP Project Manager and successfully run our onsite labour force.

Day to will include, but not limited to:- Effectively manage the electrical & mechanical onsite labour for the project and co-ordinate onsite sub-contractors

• Complete ceiling and wall closure forms and general site inspection paperwork
• Manage all day to day tasks onsite for your role
• Work alongside our Commercial Department and provide technical assistance on variances / changes to the project where requested
• Act as onsite liaison with our client at your respective level [Supervisor]
• Attend toolbox talks / give toolbox talks and site meetings prior to works com

Main responsibilities of the Electrical Project Manager:

The position is site based where you will be required to manage projects of M&E value up to £5million. Project locations are across the region and you will be required to travel to all of these. You will ideally have a background in the electrical/building services industry and significant experience of project supervision and management roles. Based on site, duties will include:- Liaison/meetings with clients, supply chain, delivery teams and management.
