Senior Electrical Project Manager

ARC Group are recruiting for a senior electrical project manager who will ideally have a background in the electrical/building industry and significant experience of project supervision and management roles.

This is an office based role, but will require frequent travel to attend sites across the region to attend meetings, surveys & inspections etc. 

Main Duties Include, But Not Limited To;

• Liaison/meetings with clients, supply chain, delivery teams and management.
• Health & Safety management with support from QHSE manager
• Attending internal CVR/progress meetings
• Financial management of projects, including procurement and assisting with costings.
• Specification and ordering of materials.
• Preparation of method statements and risk assessments.
• Management and briefing of installation personnel.
• Resolving installation and access issues.
• Completion and submission of as-installed documentation.
• Programme and project planning

This is a long term position on a temp basis atleast until june 2024 however pay lead into a perm role. 

£280 per day

Mechanical qualification

First Aid would be an advantage.

Your role will be reporting to a Contracts Manager, You will be required to oversee a commercial project .

Duties & Responsibilities of a Senior Quantity Surveyor:
• As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you’ll produce monthly CVR’s
• As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you need to control all the costs whilst maximising value
• As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you’ll produce monthly valuations
• Senior Quantity Surveyor’s liaise with subcontractors, workforce and client for each contracts
• Senior Quantity Surveyor’s focus to achieve best cashflow and variance analysis’
• As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you process labour & subcontractor payments, resolving any disputes
Desirable Experience & Qualifications for the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor:
• External Wall Insulation or Cladding Remediation experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• Experience working on projects worth over £3million
• Prior roofing experience is essential
• Experience working on LA Framework is advantageous
