The position will be based across two key sites, Norwich and Cambridge, offering an exciting and diverse work environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to come of the tools and begin their estimating career or someone looking for their second role.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed and competitive electrical estimates for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
Analyse project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to develop accurate pricing.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates align with project requirements.
Identify material, labor, and equipment needs for each project, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and build strong relationships.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience in electrical estimating within the construction or engineering sector.
Strong understanding of electrical systems and installation practices.
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Location: The successful candidate will work between two sites, Norwich and Cambridge, with flexibility for travel as required.

Package:

Permanent position.
Salary circa £55,000, dependent on experience.
