QSHE Specialist
Monday – Friday
Hours: 0730 – 1700
Location – Ipswich Office and site attendance
Salary / Package – £50k – 75k DOE

The Role:
Exciting opportunity to join a growing team in the HQ office located in Ipswich. My client are looking for an experienced, enthusiast and highly motivated individual to become a Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental lead. The QSHE role is a key to support future growth and develop new and improved processes.
They are now tendering and delivering higher value works and concentrating on growth hence, bringing in house their own QSHE team.
This is an operational role and not an advisor. So are looking for an individual who is keen to work with staff at all levels, audit and work with the team to deliver solutions
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) preferred.
- 5 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management, with a demonstrated understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety principles, environmental regulations, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver HSE training programs and facilitate discussions on HSE topics.
- Experience conducting incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HSE management software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
