Our client, a friendly fast growing family run property maintenance business is seeking a full-time storeperson to join their team. 

Duties will include –

– Managing the goods in and out of the warehouse.

– Ordering materials for tradespeople

– Stock control and managing stock levels using pre-populated exel spreadsheets

– Some delivery and collection of materials to site using a flat bed truck. 

– Monitoring of messages and orders from the tradespeople prior to their assigned project such as kitchen and bathroom installation, heating installs etc. 

Qualities and Attributes required –

Good customer service skills

Good organsiational skills

Basic IT skills such as work and exel, emails etc.

Able to multi-task

Previous experience not essential as training will be given on the job. 

Hours of work are 6.30am – 4pm Monday to Friday

Full driving licence required.

Pay rate – £11-12 per hour – Monday – Friday

Our client is a large local authority providing repairs and maintenance services to 1000s of properties across the East are currently recruiting for a clean and clear labourer to assist with trades, clearance and refurbishment of void properties in and around the Peterborough area. 

Key objective of role:

Main responsibilities will include assisting with the clearance and refurbishment of void domestic properties in the Peterborough region. The role will be a fluid and flexible position and you will be required to provide labouring support according to the needs of the business. As an experienced labourer role you will be required to have a “can do attitude” to embrace and accommodate a wide range of tasks.

The main responsibilities of the role include –

– Labouring and assisting with the clearing of void properties ready for reoccupation.

– Stripping out 

– Making good / basic painting.

– Disposal of waste from properties during clear out. 

– Any other general duties as required by the client.

– CSCS not required.

The successful applicant must ideally have a full driving licence as will be reuqired to drive a box van.

Our client a large local social housing contractor providing maintenance services to 1000s of properties across the East is looking for an experienced domestic electrician to work on a domestic maintenance social housing contract assisting in the reactive repairs and void operations in properties covering Thetford/Bury St Edmunds/ Cambridge/Newmarket and the surrounding areas. 

What we are looking for:

• Experience of installing, servicing and maintaining electrical systems and appliances in accordance with the current Edition of IET Wiring Regulations.
• Knowledge to install, repair, inspect & test electrical installations and have the ability to fill in correctly, the appropriate Electrical Certificate or Electrical Condition Report.

Our client a large local social housing contractor providing maintenance services to 1000s of properties across the Eastern region is recruiting for a painter and decorator to work on a domestic maintenance social housing contract assisting in the reactive repairs and void operations in properties covering Cambridhe/Newmarket/Bury/Thetford/ Haverhill and the surrounding areas. 

This is a mobile engineer role covering domestic maintenance works.
 
The successful individual will hold a minimum of either full trade apprenticeship or NVQ Level 2 or be time-served in a painter role covering works in your designated area. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Management of day to day jobs allocated by a central team.
• Updating PDA devices with key information and work schedules.
• To ensure all assigned tasks are carried out in a safe and efficient standard.
• Promoting the client’s corporate image and excellent service standard on every resident visit.
• Actively deal with tenant issues and complaints in a positive and effective manner.
• Making decisions upon specialist experience and knowledge.
• Ensuring compliance at all times with necessary regulations, standards, and legal responsibilities of repair work and contractor compliance.

Pay Rate – £150 per day

Our client, a subcontractor family owned business who deliver high quality services to clients in the social housing and local authority sector are seeking a painter / decorator to join their maintenance team on an ongoing basis.

The work will be mainly in Grantham and the surrounding areas. Working hours are 08.00 – 17.00 Monday to Friday with 30min lunch break.

The role

The role will involve working in void and occupied domestic properties mainly in and around the Grantham and Lincolnshire area. This will be painting and decorating kitchens, bathrooms and interiors. While at the same time offering a high standard of customer service.

Role requirements

In order to be considered for the role you must have good skills in a variety of trades such as general painting, decorating mainly kitchen and bathroom areas.

– Asbestos Awareness & Manual Handling Certificates (we can provide access to free online courses)

– Minimum of 2 years professional painting experience       

– Have own tools (brushes & whites) and transport

– Experience of facilities or housing maintenance

– Preferably have experience of working in social housing or tenanted properties.

– Full driving licence required.
