Our client a large local social housing contractor providing maintenance services to 1000s of properties across the East is looking for an experienced domestic electrician to work on a domestic maintenance social housing contract assisting in the reactive repairs and void operations in properties covering Thetford/Bury St Edmunds/ Cambridge/Newmarket and the surrounding areas. 

What we are looking for:

• Experience of installing, servicing and maintaining electrical systems and appliances in accordance with the current Edition of IET Wiring Regulations.
• Knowledge to install, repair, inspect & test electrical installations and have the ability to fill in correctly, the appropriate Electrical Certificate or Electrical Condition Report.

Duties:

• Testing and inspection of domestic dwellings
• Fault finding and repair
• Reactive maintenance
• Storage heaters
• Immersions
• Showers
• Street lighting
• Door entry systems
• Re-wires
• Completion of all NICEIC paperwork
• Ideally previous domestic, social housing experience

Qualifications:

• Essential 17th Edition qualified 
• Desired 18th Edition qualified
• Desired 2391 Testing and Inspection
• Desired JIB graded approved Electrician
• Desired Health and Safety trained
• Essential Full UK Driving License
• Essential Current CSCS Card

Job Title – Mechanical Supervisor

Location – Wisbech, Cambridgeshire

Salary – £37,500 – £40,000 per annum + work vehicle, 25 days holiday and other benefits. 

Our client, a friendly fast growing family run property maintenance company is seeking a full-time Mechanical Supervisor to join their team. 

The main responsibilities of the role include – 

– Management of subcontractors (plumbers, electricians, carpenters, and general builders)

– Trade experience essential (Ideally electrical or mechanical bias)

– Programming of planned maintenance works – mainly Air Source Heat pumps and Gas installation contracts. 

– Client and resident liaison

– Survey and Post Inspect Local Authority upgrade works to include kitchen, bathrooms, wet rooms and heating systems. 

– SSSTS qualified (Preferred but not essential)

– Quality Assurance

– Compliance checks

Trade experience essential (Ideally electrical or mechanical bias)

Management or supervisory experience also preferred.

Salary – £25,0000 – £26,000 per annum (£11 per hour temp-perm)

Our client, a friendly fast growing family run property maintenance business is seeking a full-time storeperson to join their team. 

Duties will include –

– Managing the goods in and out of the warehouse.

– Ordering materials for tradespeople

– Stock control and managing stock levels using pre-populated exel spreadsheets

– Some delivery and collection of materials to site using a flat bed truck. 

– Monitoring of messages and orders from the tradespeople prior to their assigned project such as kitchen and bathroom installation, heating installs etc.

Our client is a large local authority providing repairs and maintenance services to 1000s of properties across the East are currently recruiting for a clean and clear labourer to assist with trades, clearance and refurbishment of void properties in and around the Peterborough area. 

Key objective of role:

Main responsibilities will include assisting with the clearance and refurbishment of void domestic properties in the Peterborough region. The role will be a fluid and flexible position and you will be required to provide labouring support according to the needs of the business. As an experienced labourer role you will be required to have a “can do attitude” to embrace and accommodate a wide range of tasks.

The main responsibilities of the role include –

– Labouring and assisting with the clearing of void properties ready for reoccupation.

– Stripping out 

– Making good / basic painting.

– Disposal of waste from properties during clear out. 

– Any other general duties as required by the client.

– CSCS not required.

The successful applicant must ideally have a full driving licence as will be reuqired to drive a box van.  

This is a full time temp-perm role starting asap. Monday – Friday 8-5pm, 42.50 hours per week.

Job Tile – Labourer / Driver

Pay Rate – £23,000 per annum + company van

Our client a large social housing maintenance company providing maintenance and upgrade services to 1000s of domestic properties across the Eastern region is currently recruiting for a labourer / driver to join their team. 

The successful applicant will be working alongside tradespeople asssiting with the works being carried out such as kitchen replacements and property upgrades and refurbishment.

Duties and Responsibilities –

– Collection and delivery of materials to and from site and merchants to ensure the tradespeople have what they need to complete the jobs.

– Clearance of properties ready for re-occcupation.

– Labouring duties as required. 

A background in labouring or construction is preferable. 

Hours are Monday – Friday 8am-5pm. 

Permanent position available for the suitable applicant. 

Full driving licence essential
