Pay rate – £11-11.50 per hour – Monday – Friday

Our client is a large local authority providing repairs and maintenance services to 1000s of properties across the East are currently recruiting for a full-time skilled labourer to assist with trades and refurbishment in voids properties in and around the Norwich area.

Key objective of role:

Main responsibilities will include assisting with maintenance and upgrade work such as making good, refurbishment of kitchens and bathrooms and general repairs to void properties in the region. The role will be a fluid and flexible position and you will be required to provide labouring support according to the needs of the business. As a skilled labourer role you will be required to have a “can do attitude” to embrace and accommodate a wide range of tasks.

The main responsibilities of the role include –

– Labouring and assiting a skilled tradesperosn on void properties for local authority works in the Norfolk area.

– Stripping out

– Making good / basic painting.

– Any other general duties as required by the client.

– CSCS not required.

The successful applicant must ideally have a full driving licence and own transport (unless based in Norwich in which case it can be accommodated).

This is a full time temp-perm role starting asap. Monday – Friday 8-5pm, 42.50 hours per week.

Our client a large local social housing contractor providing maintenance services to properties across the East is looking for an experienced Plasterer / wet trades multi to work on void properties in the Ipswich area. The candidate will ideally be a skilled and experienced plasterer who also holds skills in other wet trades such as floor screeding, ceramic tiling etc.

The successful individual will hold a minimum level 2 NVQ or be time-served as a plasterer whilst also being experienced in completing various other maintenance tasks. As a skilled plasterer with relevant experience you will be required to undertake a variety of allocated works across the area.

Duties and Responsibilities

Management of jobs within void properties.

Ensuring all assigned tasks are carried out to a safe and efficient standard.

Making decisions upon specialist experience and knowledge.

This is a mobile engineer role covering domestic maintenance works.

The successful individual will hold a minimum of either full trade apprenticeship or NVQ Level 2 or be time-served in a painter role covering works in your designated area.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Management of day to day jobs allocated by a central team.
Updating PDA devices with key information and work schedules.
To ensure all assigned tasks are carried out in a safe and efficient standard.

Our client a large local social housing contractor providing maintenance services to 1000s of properties across of East is looking for a Permanent and Full Time Plumber to carry out and assist with all trade related tasks as a Plumber working as (but not restricted to) part of a customer focused responsive team.

The hours of work will be 42.5 per week. The area covered is Ipswich and surrounding areas.

Duties:

Fault finding regarding leaks (tracing and establishing problems within water systems).
The installation of bathroom components (Baths, sinks and WC’s).
The unblocking of external drain.
The replacement of water tanks, hot water cylinders and other associated systems.
Tiling and basic carpentry (bath panels, skirting and window board)

Main Responsibilities:

To be responsible for the effective and efficient repairs of all plumbing duties, including all associated works within both occupied and void properties using the required tools.
To assess and carry out accurate planned repairs efficiently and effectively.
To ensure that the work is undertaken in a timely manner, whilst maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
To manage customer enquiries, responding in a professional manner coordinating with our Operations Centre.
From time to time, if requested, to act as a mentor to trainees/apprentices to encourage and support their development.
Providing out of hours support on a rota based system. Additional remuneration will be incorporated for this.
To undertake any other duties as required by the Group from time to time, if these duties are of a greater level of responsibility or skill that those required in the post, then full training and appropriate supervision will be provided.
Work on own initiative to ensure that all repairs are carried out efficiently to ensure the right level of customer satisfaction is achieved.

Take personal responsibility for the understanding and application of applying the use of ‘PLAN’ when diagnosing a repair.
Take responsibility for all transport, equipment or mobile phone devices issued by company and ensure that they are kept in excellent condition and secure at all times.

Skills:
