Our client a property maintenance company working in the social housing industry carrying out repairs and maintenance works on properties across the East is seeking a full time Resident Liaison Officer to join their team based in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. You will be responsible for dealing with tenants to discuss details of the works to be carried out in their homes and being the first point of call for any queries and concerns associated with the building works. 

Duties & Responsibilities of a Resident Liaison Officer:-

• Facilitate the smooth running of projects by building and maintaining positive relationships between the residents, tradesmen, client representatives and the company. 
• Undertaking the day-to-day administration for specific planned works contracts and be responsible for maintaining all relevant records accurately and effectively.
• Have a sound understanding and appreciation of the works being carried out and able to translate this simply and effectively whilst talking to residents.
• Set-up from receipt of address list and update through the life of a contract/project spreadsheet with new, revised, or updated information; particularly cell notes regarding access and special requirements, survey/start/completion dates
• Obtain all necessary pre-start property information from Clients/Residents, monitor and record information.
• Formulate and send out with necessary enclosures the introduction, survey appointment and start date letters,
• Schedule/arrange survey appointments to meet output/programme.
• Collate pre-works survey information, scan into contract/project directories, forward information to commercial team for processing within agreed timescales.
• Assemble job packs with agreed timescales with all necessary information.
• Contact tenants within agreed timescales to remind of start date.
• Ensure all relevant files/documents/correspondences are filed correctly within specific contract/project directories.
• Collate post-works completion pack information, scan into contract/project directory, forward information to commercial team for processing within agreed timescales.

Desirable Skills & Experience of a Resident Liaison Officer:-

• An excellent telephone manner and be professional and presentable. 
• Previous experience in a tenant liaison role preferred but applicants with transferable skills with a strong customer service or client facing background considered.

This a full time permanent vacancy with an immediate start for the right candidate. 

Hours are Monday – Friday 8-5pm.

Job Title: Domestic Electrician

Location: Norwich and surrounding area

Hourly Rate: £19.00 per hour (CIS self-employed) 

Our client is a newly created limited company wholly owned by local Council, responsible for delivering key environmental and building maintenance operations to the City of Norwich. We are looking for an Electrician who will carry out fault finding, diagnosis, appropriate repairs and new electrical installation work on local Council Properties. This is a varied role and the postholder will need to have the ability to adapt to different working conditions and be able to work individually or as part of a team.

The post holder will need to have City & Guilds Electrical Qualifications or an equivalent recognised apprenticeship, City & Guilds 2382 18^th Edition wiring regulations, a full UK Driving License and willing to be clean shaven, if applicable, for the role.

The role will require the post holder to interpret electrical schematic diagrams, reports and drawings therefore extensive experience in a domestic or electrical trade will be beneficial. Alongside this it is essential that records are up to date and accurate to ensure that we are providing the best possible service and making informed decision based on the relevant information so analytical and report writing skills will be needed for this role.

Working hours are 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm, 4pm finish Friday.

Job Title – Planner/Scheduler – Customer Service

Job Description:

Our client a large reputable social housing contractor providing maintenance and repair services to thousands of properties across the East is looking for a full time, residential planner to join their team.

We are looking for applicants that can provide fantastic customer service, liaise between multi-trade workers and the tenants on commencing maintenance works. The candidate must be well organised, have a professional manner, be capable in taking high volumes of calls, be computer literate in Microsoft outlook, word and excel and be able to learn how to use the company database. Working from their Bury St Edmunds office.

Key Objectives of role:

To provide outstanding Customer Service.

Main Responsibilities:
  

1. Receive works orders from customers.

1. Analyse works and liaise with Customers on diagnosis, accuracy of information and other works order aspects.
2. Enter and configure data using the company system.
3. Arrange appointments with Customers.
4. Allocate and diaries work for Response operatives and sub-contractors.
5. Finalise order processes following the completion of works.
6. Check, monitor and action all items connected to the works order process to achieve the fastest possible efficiency and completion times.
7. Confidence to respectfully challenge as appropriate to effectively carry out your role.
8. Refer immediately upwards any item that cannot be completed satisfactorily within your responsibility.
9. Work to the priorities, deadlines and performance targets set by management.
10. Any other tasks that are reasonable and appropriate to the role and to the work of the Operations Centre.
11. Take personal responsibility for own health, safety and welfare and that of colleagues in the workplace.

Skills and experience preferable for the role:

• Dealing with customers/ the public by phone.

• Some knowledge or experience in a property maintenance and/or technical environment.

This is a full time role 40 hours per week Mon – Friday , 8.00 – 17.00hrs, 2 x 15 mins break morning & afternoon with a half hour lunch.

This is temp-perm vacancy leading to a full time position after a satisfactory 13 weeks probationary period through ARC.

Pay £12.92 per hour on a PAYE basis.

• As the Domestic Electrician you’ll be working on Void properties in the London area
• As the Domestic Electrician you’ll be required to Test and Inspect and reactive maintenance
• As the Domestic Electrician you’ll be ensuring that installations comply with design, quality and installation standards, and that operational activities comply with contractual, Health & Safety and the latest Electrical regulatory requirements.
• As the Domestic Electrician you’ll be carrying out bespoke installation and undertaking PAT testing.
• As the Domestic Electrician you’ll be mentoring and supporting Electrical Apprenticeship placements through to qualified status.

Our client, a reputable building and roofing company operating in the private, commercial and public sectors, are looking for a Solar PV Roof Installer to help to continue the growth of their Renewable Energy Division. Current projects range from minor repairs and maintenance, bespoke projects through to major capital improvement programs.

Working hours are 8am -5pm Monday to Friday. 30 minutes lunch.

Responsibilities of a PV Installer

• Setting up solar panels on roofs or other structures to convert solar power into renewable energy
• Planning and assessing PV system configurations based on customer needs and site conditions to ensure they are suitable for solar panels
• Measuring, cutting and assembling the support structure for installation
• Making adjustments to building surfaces so panels fit and are adequately supported
• Installing and maintaining solar panels on homes and business premises
• Connecting solar panels to an electrical system in accordance with building codes and standards, and checking electrical installation for proper wiring, polarity, grounding or integrity of terminations
• Adhering to strict Health & Safety guidelines
• Performing routine system maintenance checks and fixing solar panels, ensuring the wiring systems are safe and efficient
• Applying weather sealant to equipment being installed
• Using a variety of technical equipment and tools

Experience of a PV Installer

• Previous experience in roofing and fitting solar panels
• Previous experience in the construction industry either as an Electrician, Roofer, Carpenter or Labourer
• Must have a ‘can do’ attitude and be able to problem solve
• Knowledge of electrical systems
• Good attention to detail
• Analytical thinking skills

Qualifications & Skills of a PV Installer 

• City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation
