Job Title – Electrician
Location – Great Yarmouth
Salary – £32,557.85 – £35,356.35
Our client a large local social housing contractor providing maintenance services to 1000s of properties across the East is looking for an experienced domestic electrician to work on a domestic maintenance social housing contract assisting in the reactive repairs and void operations in properties covering ….. and the surrounding areas.
What we are looking for:
- Experience of installing, servicing and maintaining electrical systems and appliances in accordance with the current Edition of IET Wiring Regulations.
- Knowledge to install, repair, inspect & test electrical installations and have the ability to fill in correctly, the appropriate Electrical Certificate or Electrical Condition Report.
What you need to have:
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
- City & Guilds 17th or 18th Edition
- Inspection and Testing 2391/2 2394/5 or equivalent
- Ideally previous domestic, social housing experience
Working hours will be Monday to Friday 08:00am to 17:00pm with 30 minutes lunch.
There is an on call rota which you will be asked to join after a qualifying period.
The pay rate is based on a self-employed basis. PAYE is available and the rate will be dependent on the preferred method of payment.
Immediate start available for the right candidate. The interview may also include a trade test to assess suitability for the role.
The role is offered on a temp-perm basis with the potential to lead to a full time position with the company after 13 weeks as long as performance and standards are met.
A van, fuel card and uniform will be issued with this role.
Overtime available.
