PAY: £27,491 – £30,684 per annum (subject to skills assessment)

About the role
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Operative to join tehir Maintenance Team! Do you have a passion for the work you do and want to make a difference in our tenants’ lives? Then this might be the opportunity for you!
This role is responsible for carrying out responsive repairs to our tenants’ homes in a timely, efficient, and high standard within one of Maintenence Teams. The ideal candidate would be required to have a background in 2 or more of the following:
- Brickwork/Blockwork (Minor repairs)
- Fencing – Close board, chain link and strand wire
- Plastering – Both full rooms and patch work
- Artexing and overboarding
- Paving and Patios
- Drainage (Soakaways, main water excavation)
- Roof works (Minor repairs)
- Floor Levelling
- Ceramic Wall Tiling
- Minor Painting and Decorating
This role will be required to be part of an on-call rota and a full driving licence is required; a basic DBS check will be carried out before employment.

About You
The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and experience of working in Property Maintenance ideally within Social Housing.
You will need either a full trade Apprenticeship or NVQ at Level 2 or appropriate trade experience within at least 2 different trades, you’ll have experience of delivering great customer service and have good digital skills whilst being adaptable to evolving IT systems.

This is a temporrary role that could be leading to a full time position after a satisfactory probationary period through ARC.
