Job Role – Painter & Decorator
Location – Norwich
Pay Rate – 25,500.00 p/a plus company van + fuel card
Our client a large local social housing contractor providing maintenance services to 1000s of properties across the East is looking for an experienced Painting operatives to work on a domestic maintenance social housing contract assisting in the voids properties and are a mixture of internal and external works mainly Norwich area. The candidate will ideally be a skilled and experienced painter & decorator.
This is a mobile engineer role covering domestic maintenance works.
Role requirements for Painter/Decorator :
In order to be considered for the role you must have good skills in a variety of trades such as general painting, decorating mainly kitchen and bathroom areas.
– Minimum of 2 years professional painting experience
– Have own tools (brushes & whites) and transport
– Experience of facilities or housing maintenance
– Full driving licence & van/car required
Knowledge and Experience
- Experience within a domestic maintenance environment.
- Painting/Decorating experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, telephone skills and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- An understanding and ability to show excellent customer service skills.
Working hours will be Monday to Friday 7.30-16.00 hrs (3pm finish on Fridays).
The role is offered on a temp-perm basis leading to a full time position with the company after 13 weeks as long as performance and standards are met.
A van, fuel card and uniform will be issued with this role from day 1, Overtime at 1.5 available afetr 39 hours per week.
